I volunteered last month and now saving newspapers. Should I shred before bringing them or leave as they are? Also, have several "blanket throws" and towels we don't use. Would you need those?

I know we have volunteers that shred the paper at the main building and are always in need of blankets and towels, especially now that its cold.
