I have a pitbull and can no longer keep him, my newborn is not reacting to the pet dander and hair everywhere. Can I take him to this place? Are they going to euthanize him? I don't want to take that route but no one will take him not even for free

Theybare pretty good about finding homes for all pets and the test them to see about food people kids pets if he is friendly non-food aggressive and doesn't have any health problems then they should take him in and should find him a home

No one takes put bulls! They are considered "Dangerous" Which in my opinion is bull... there are some dogs that are BUT most dogs that are dangerous have been poorly treated/raised. I've had dozens & my children were raised with them. Please investigate about the specific animal breed before getting rid of it. Thank You..(This is my opinion)

Where are you located? And do you still have him?

Cassie Chong | Aug 17, 2019

So you want to call first because they can only keep the dogs they have room for because they are a no-kill shelter* if they do not have the ability to take the animal they will give you the next best suggestion of a no-kill shelter

Danielle is right. I would call there prior to bringing him there.
