No, there are several pay to park garages surrounding the building, as well as street parking to the east and south of us. We are near all CTA train stops also.

Appointments are only being taken through the online system and from my understanding, Chicago is currently only accepting 15 appointments a day right now for non emergency travel; and as stated from previous post, you will only get an appointment within 72 hours of your travel date and passport would need to be expired or close to it. They are still in a shut down state due to the pandemic. They are trying to reopen fully but it will take time.

There are options for emergency/expedited passport. I believe that it is if you are within 2 weeks of travel for a 60$ fee. Standard time is 6-8 weeks. This is accurate as of Sept 2019. I had to get an expedited passport at that time.

Call the airline to verify if you can still board the plane with a misspelling, usually the answer is yes. You cannot get same day passport, but you can get an expedited passport if traveling within the next two weeks. There's a background check, and other security checks they must run before giving passports. I don't know if they are open on Saturdays. You'll probably have to go to your local post office if you're doing business on a Saturday. But it's cheaper to take your own photo. Be sure to read their rules and guidelines regarding photos.
