I need to expedite my passport. I sent all my documents in via 2-day mail on April 9, and processing did not start until May 7. I am leaving the country on June 28. What should I do? I cannot get a hold of a person via the hotline.

Call the emergency line. You'll have to keep calling till you get a hold of someone.

I got my passport expedited a month ago. I tried the email on the website but no response. The only way I got an appointment to expedite my passport was by calling the hotline. But I was on hold from 8:30am until when they answered my call 3 hours later at 11:30am. I suggest calling the hotline again and be prepared to be on hold.
