Oh my! Well worth my money! We saw sea turtles, small sharks and the best moment was a dolphin came by and stole a man's fish on the line. He played with it right in front of us. It was a nice Pier with lots of seating. We went early morning on a Wednesday. Thanks Pensacola! You're awesome!

Great place to chat with fisherman about their catches, the beracuda and the lady fish, and watch the shoreline. With a small fee charge, it is ceryainly worthwhile

Sugary sands and crystal clear water. One of my favorite beaches in the US. I prefer the beaches in the gulf coast to the ones on the east coast of Florida. Lesser crowds and cleaner beaches. The pier provides some great photo opportunities with the panaromic view of the Pensacola skyline. We visited the beach during sunset and it is spectacular. There is a small admission fee (about $5 for 2 people) to get there and it's more than worth that amount.

The water in the ocean is very transparent. The beach is clean with white sand. There is a public big parking lot by the beach. Facilities like showers and restrooms are available between the beach and the parking lot which is very convenient.

Yes. 6AM - 7:15PM daily
No. You can camp at Fort Pickens which is only a few miles East. It does cost but it is well worth it as they do have security patrols. It is also in a National Seashore Park.
Because he has the keys.
Yes they do. We fish there all the time and when we pay to go on pier there is always rental fishing equipment there.
Yes, absolutely! Stop by Walmart and get some 2oz weights, sabiki rigs, and a few Gotcha plugs (all from Walmart). Have fun.
Resident saltwater anglers who fish from shore or a structure affixed to shore will need a shoreline fishing license unless they have a regular saltwater fishing license, persons with disabilities fishing license, other combo license or are exempt. Non resident saltwater licenses are available in 3 day and 7 days. But yes, a state fishing license is required to fish from pier, shore, or boat.
Yes
If you are going to fish on pier, it is $7 per person, just to walk on pier it is $2. To go to Fort Pickens it is $20 for a 3 day pass.
1.50 to walk. You can purchase license if you don't have one Not sure how much.
No. They close at sunset:
Hello, I don't have the answer. But when I went 2 weeks ago the pier was closed. It had sections of the railing missing.
Yes they're close
If you're walking away from the pier ramp, you'll see the police station on your left. Take a right and walk about 300 ft. On your right, the restrooms are in the Pensacola Beach Public Safety Building.
I dont know. I dont live there. My family only visited. But there are ALOT of fishermen there, especially at the end of the pier (where it squares out). We couldnt even hardly walk through there because we were scared we would get lured to death lol!!!
Yeah, its Pensacola, look up angler with brett, he is on YouTube
Pier stays open all year
No grills allowed Food and drinks in plastic are ok. No alcohol. There are some shelter houses with grills
They have fishing gear to rent and bait for sale there.
7.50 all day pass u have to rent the pole but u don't need a fishing license because you paid the pier fee you just need to know the rules
Not sure about a reinbursement... but there are other piers you could try.
No license on paied piers including Pensacola
Yes!
There are many different fish. The other night a man hooked a shark at Pensacola Pier. The shark jumped out of the water and off the hook he came. It was amazing to watch. King mackerel were also found jumping out of the water.
I'm sure that it is for safety reasons.
Yes
Yes. You can rental tackle
A small one just over you on the main part, no one should give you a problem with. At the end of the pier, might cause an issue

The fishing is good. Come on down.
The weather is cool and breezy, best weather in FL in my opinion. Can't say whether or not the fish are biting.
