Had to leave early thieves were trying to steal my bikes. Notified hotel security twice. The second time they were able to cut one of my security cables. Had to to talk to three different people and no has the contacted me for a refund for our last night stay. We had to pack up 2am in the morning and headed back to NC. We were feeling a little shocked. Never had anyone consistently try to steal something from me. They weren't going to stop unless they got our bikes. Hotel is nice but the neighborhood is sketchy as hell. Weird no other bikes there were messed with. They were nice enough to refund one night stay thanks. Just be careful staying in southern Colorado Springs.

I've stayed in several Double trees throughout Colorado. Usually have had great experiences. Recently though, I stay in one in Colorado Springs; there were a few minor issues. The hot tub, was not hot. The shower valve appeared wonky; I thought it was broke, so I inquired about it to the front desk. Turns out it worked. I just think the valve needs attention so that others don't think it's broke. I met another individual in the lobby from a room on another floor who had the same issue. Otherwise, another good experience.

I booked this hotel because they are dog friendly. Friendly & helpful front desk staff. Beautiful lobby, bar, and restaurant area as soon as you walk in. The restaurant food was good, I had the Kobe hot dog my son had an American burger. We were not disappointed. The rooms are a tad out dated. The beds are very comfortable. The pool area is big. Unfortunately, we got stuck on the other side of the hotel so it is quite a walk from our room but not a big deal. I did not realize how big this hotel was! I would stay here again. The location is great it is close to restaurants, shopping, and not far from downtown.

We are diamond members and I wouldn’t stay here again. All we got was a 30 min late checkout. Of course “due to covid” they are short staffed so rooms don’t get cleaned daily, no big deal so then why not a late checkout. I doubt the one person cleaning the rooms will get to my room at 12:30. Breakfast is 17.00 for a normal continental cheap breakfast. Sure they will make you eggs to order but only if you track down the waiter. Yes they are friendly but short staffed. Nice facility but for the price and lack of accommodating those who are diamond members I will not be returning. It is now 12:45 and no one in site to clean our room that we had to be out of by 12:30.

Is it true that your eating area no longer serves the military and their guests?

Hi, Linda. Thank you for reaching out. We want to assure you that there had been an isolated incident over a year ago, and we continue to work closely with our military contacts in our community to make sure our relationship remains intact and positive. We terminated the employees who posted the sign immediately back in March 2019, and are continuously conducting customer service, diversity and inclusion training to ensure this doesn’t happen again. We are extremely grateful for all who serve our country, and all military personnel (both active and retired) and their families are always welcome at our hotel. We look forward to hosting many more military groups and events in the future—having the opportunity to do so is a point of pride for us. Please don’t hesitate to reach out should you have any further questions. Thank you and have a good day.
