Resident saltwater anglers who fish from shore or a structure affixed to shore will need a shoreline fishing license unless they have a regular saltwater fishing license, persons with disabilities fishing license, other combo license or are exempt. Non resident saltwater licenses are available in 3 day and 7 days. But yes, a state fishing license is required to fish from pier, shore, or boat.
Jason Nguyen no man you don't, I'm pretty sure you can just go out and fish. I've done it plenty times, and so have many other people.
I know the sign said $7.50 to fish on the pier and just one pole.
The pier has a license so you don't need one
