Shark eel not sure what the names of all of them are. There is one that is very thin and silver. The pier was damaged in the storms last year so the end of the pier is closed off

We didn't have to pay to walk the pier, but we had dinner at the restaurant there and went out that way... By the way they probably have the best chef in the state, HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE BBQ BACON WRAPPED SHRIMP, ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS AND HUGE.

Dogs can go on the beach off season all day, but before 9 and after 5 during tourist season. I don't believe there are allowed on the pier itself. I think the pier restaurants are closed this time of year but they will be opening for tourist season.

Memorial day to labor day we have fireworks.

Being there just last week, bartender said open all year round. I would still check, though. Edit: 4/1/18. The owner needs to inform his witstaff to stop telling customers that they're open year round.
