Ive had good luck around 4ish pm with spots and whiteing and some occasional black sea bass. Ribbon fish seem to run like crazy around eight through midnight. But you might want to get there a little early to get you a decent spot.

Early morning just as the sun is coming up. And around 5 in the evening
High tide ,watch out on right side of pier, old washed out pier beside it, good fishing, especially if you are fishing for ribbon fish
