I became a patient of Dr. Viki's in June 2019. I was so excited to finally find a doctor who listened, and was knowledgeable. Rare to find around the Myrtle Beach area. Fast forward 2 years, and I don't know what happened. I always found Dr. Viki easy to talk to, and felt she listened, but after my last visit I got a whole new feeling from her, and it wasn't good. I see her every 3 months for labs and refills. This time I wasn't feeling well, and felt I needed to come in between my scheduled visit which would have been a couple of months later. I've only done that twice , and I won't do that again. Dr Viki talked to me in a loud tone, and was told there was nothing else she could do for me. The way I was looked at made me feel really bad for for being there. I don't usually let things like that get to me so much. Everyone has bad days , but this was different. I called the next day, and talked to Candice, the manager. . Told her what happened and how Dr Viki made me feel. I was really taken aback Dreading my next appointment. Ugh. I recently deleted my previous 5 star great review that I posted 2 years ago. It had 1895 views. Things have changed, and not impressed with the staff so it needed to be removed. So difficult to find a decent doctor in Myrtle Beach. UPDAtE : Ironically I received a termination letter from Dr. Vikki. It actually made me laugh. By her attitude , and little comments she , and the receptionist have made, I was expecting this letter. She did say she would see me for emergency visits for 30 days until I find another doctor. Gee, thanks. lol. Why would go where I am not wanted ! I saw her a couple of weeks ago for the first time in 7 months. Her choice. I was having a couple of issues , and she ordered a cat scan or my lungs and brain. But she didn't put the order in at all until I called days later. It's easy to send a referral to McLeod scheduling. Obviously it wasn't important to Dr Vikki. I talked to the office manager ( Karen M) about that because this is not the first time an order wasn't done . She showed no concern either. Last year I asked about my labs and apparently that is the wrong thing to do. Very obvious Dr Vilkki has lost any compassion she once had, it's not only me that feels this way. I was only continuing to see her because I am on a medication that I can die from if I stop taking it abruptly . I've been looking for a new doctor because of the treatment I received at McLeod Family Medicine. Don't waste your time here - try to find a compassionate doctor , and office - we all deserve that. ** October '22 - And now I will add that I asked for my medical records. Part of them were sent to the wrong address after I gave them the correct address twice , and was on the medical release form. That's a major HIPPA violation ! Spoke with Karen , the office manager, because when I call the office no one knows what they're doing and they don't want to speak with me. They do have caller ID and will hang up on you. I've never raised my voice to these people. Just expected better care and concern. *BUT after seeing my medical records --- I see how Dr Vikki really feels about me !!!!! I'm actually surprised at her unethical comments !!! I raved about this doctor for 2 years only to find out how she really feels about me ! I was told by the receptionist that I would have to pay for my records if I picked them up , but that wasn't true . Now I know why they wanted to forward my records instead of me picking them up ! Stay away from this miserable doctor who doesn't care about her patients , and thinks she is god !!!

The only thing I have to complain is the customer service at the check in areas, not sure if the receptionists are super loaded with work and are stressed out, but it has been now twice that I have gone there with my partner and have the most awful experience, they yell, they get frustrated when asked questions, they are not helpful and they are irritated if you don’t know who you are seeing and instead of trying to help, that if you ask me, that is what they are supposed to be doing, specially if you are visiting a doctor, where is the empathy from these employees?

I was Dr. Griesmer’s patient for 3 years. I tried to be respectful to them, but as a whole they (including Abby and management) were very careless and lazy. My last straw, was when I called asking if 6 weeks later my X-ray request was still good. I drove to the other side of town to get X-rays done to discover they lied. The request was only good for 30 days. I called them in anger and Abby replied with excuses. I let her know she was wrong for being defensive against an obvious wrong they did to me. The more I needed their help the worse they were to me, no matter how considerate I was towards them. Mean people.

8:30 to 5 monday-thurs. Not sure of Friday hours. I use Dr. Vicki, very good.
McLeod does offer COVID-19 testing.
They only take appointments..but does take medicare

Yes we do take most Aetna plans. Is it part of Medicare or regular Aetna
