I'm still waiting on a response to my BBB Complaint below I applied for the Y membership on 8/2/2022 and was given two. Passes that allowed access for my daughter and I. For the month of August by the young lady that took my application. While waiting on a FA determination. That application was lost for a week or more. Until I described to a man the details of my application being submitted.  By the time I finished my workout he was about to find my application. So it could be sent over to the person that handles there Financial Assistance Application. Upon it being faced over one of the digits in my phone number. Was mistaken for another number by Deb, the person that handles FA apps. So when she thought she was speaking to us and informed her coworkers. Over at the YMCA she was actually speaking with someone else until the person. Finally inquired about not doing a YMCA so don’t know the purpose of the call. But somewhere in the process of talking to them our August admittance was stopped. Because of her messing up and dialing the wrong number but informing the Y in MB. That “I wasn’t returning her calls”.  I was finally able and get in contact with Deb after receiving her number. From an employee of the YMCA after also providing my correct number. When Deb and I talked and we  discussed everything that I needed to provide them and what I wold be paying. On 9/8/22 I took the document Deb informed me to bring but Marc stated “that wouldn’t work”. I don’t understand why he wants me to provide simmering totally different from what Deb informed me. Why is the financial information of someone I’m staying with needed for my application. When that’s there income not mines and they not on my application. My conversation with Mar  didn’t go the best because he thought I was yelling at him, didn’t like the fact that I said how unorganized the location is, etc. He threatened to call the cops on me so after a while I requested his boss info and left. I located  Ryan and explained what was going on after Marc while I was on hold for I haven’t had no returned calls even after Ryan said “Deb or him would call me back” and after. Learning several messages on Deb vcml about BBB, Why? How do y’all mission statements say “That y’all welcome all and believe no one should be denied” but I haven’t been able to get a ….. How do y’all maybe mission statements say “That y’all welcome all and believe no one should be denied” but I haven’t been able to get application result and today is 10/5/22.

Have to pay 5 dollars each time you go if you don’t have their membership but have a ymca membership where you are from. They are not apart of the national association of the ymca. There is hardly any equipment for lifting and hardly any machines. Do not recommend this YMCA for tourists or people who live in this area.

Most ridiculous gym i have ever been to in my life ! The trainer walked up to me and asked me if i have another shirt because no one can show there mid drift The trainer came up to me and told me she would go get me a shirt I told her no I’ll just pick another gym she ran and told the Director What kind of rule is that for a gym So they get to dictate the gym clothing you wear ! There’s nothing for my 10 year old daughter to do here. if you put your child in childcare they won’t let you walk them in they’re not allowed to bring in a toy, which my daughter is autistic so that makes things extremely hard. I came from colorado and the ymca are so much better. all of the gym equipment is updated all of the pools are updated and have waterslides and water parks in them and so much more to do this ymca is stuck in 1950
