Priority for waitlist is very questionable. Less that 24hrs ago my wife was told we we #1 on the list and should possibly get a welcome letter in an email later in the afternoon by 5pm. We never got the email so I called the office and was told we were #5 and then was told to hold on by the clerk and she said "oh excuse me your #3 on the list". We were told we were bumped by two families that had earlier report dates. The first 07/15/ 2022 and the second 07/26/2022. It's 08/03/2022. So I can't see why Soldiers who are past their report date or already signed in to their unit get priority to incoming personnel that have done the right thing by putting their names on the list when the got their PCS orders/before their actual report date. I mean c'mon the Soldier with the July 15th report date should be a lower priority being that they are past the report date by 17+days not automatically given 1st priority. Especially not after you just told a Soldier and their family they were next on the list (#1)and the very next day are #3. Is this Ft Gordon Housing SOP?

Long maintenance wait time. We have several work orders that have been ignored or put off. Office staff unprofessional. My husband had to go into their office to inquire about multiple maintenance requests and one of the ladies walked up to him asking him how tall he was because she couldn’t get it off of her mind. What she should have been concerned with is our housing issue, not my husbands height.

Yes, the homes do have air conditioning. Please let us know if there is anything else we can help you with.

Your rent will be what you are allotted for BAH for your rank
I would definitely talk to them 1 more time, then go to housing and make an official complaint thereafter if that if it doesn't work.
I have lived in base housing for the last 3 years. It's nothing fancy, but it is decent and a huge time saver. Though Gordon terrace is the least nice housing area and all the others have been recently remodeled.
The houses are not that big. I have a 4 br/2.5 bath but it's less than 1500 sqft And 4 Kids. Rent for me is 1299, but will likely go up after 1 year
Yes, but you have to pay a transfer fee I believe.
