SCAM ALERT!!!!!!I was quoted a price of $794 including taxes, for 2-night stay at Mariners Landing. This was the quote given over the phone. I confirmed multiple times asking if it was the final amount. I was told thats the final amount. After I confirmed the reservation by paying fee of $307, the new quote I got was $804. I called back asking why the extra fee. I was told that the extra fee is the convenience fee for booking using credit card. Again I confirmed asking if it was the final amount and I was told that's the final amount and I got an email confirming the final balance including taxes and fee which was $497. I have the email proof. After the stay was complete, I have been charged $516 instead of $497, bringing the total upto $824. thats $30 more than what I was told in the beginning. Again when I called, I was told its the extra fee including Taxes, Cleaning fee and convenience. NO specific explanation given for the fee. Though I enjoyed the place and location, I'm very hesitant to go to Mariners landing again.PLEASE AVOID THEM!!!!
