You can be a walk-in but they only a take limited number. If you are a walk-in I would suggest getting there when they open. At the very least, I suggest you get there by 11:00 as a walk-in but be prepared to get setup on an appointment for another day if you are not there as late as 11:00. My son and I made an appointment online but since the date was so far out, we went in as a walk-in and they made us an appointment for an earlier date that wasn't on their calendar. Good luck

Yes he can. He'll more than liky need you to go with him. You'll need two ways of proving his Identification like his school ID or transcript. 2 proofs of residency like a water bill etc. Something that has your name or his name, the address, and a valid date.

Ok, ......I say pause because Texas has a whole different little order of operations for other states. My wife is from Chicago and we both moved here from Va. with the SAME circumstance. First things first: you HAVE to get your car registered in the state FIRST. You (may) be able to do that in at this office but they may send you to your town's court office. (We did this in Irving before we moved to GP). You must make sure you have your insurance and proof of residency (bills) and your previous registration. BE PREPARED: they're going to charge you the regular registration fee for 1 year + some damn "new residents" fee which I think was like $150...(I think). The only plus is that they hand you your new license plate right away instead of having to wait for it to be sent to you.Then you take your papers to the department of public safety (wait in a nice long line) and submit those for your license (which you must pay a fee for). No test. Check online thoroughly for requirements

Yes you will need a Truck, but back in February 8,2022 in order to obtain a CDL License you have to attend a Driving School. That is the only way to obtain a CDL,the Law changed.

No they do not u basically have to be at the building at 4am to start forming a line. 1st 20 people get attended when it opens at 8am everyone else gets a ticket to come back at a different time that day. I been dealing with them all month.
