Good welcome and good service, the setting is magnificent, the dishes very well served, drinks a little too expensive, but overall good ๐ค

This restaurante advertise itself as "the view", however the only few tables with real good view near the window are most of the time empty - but reserved! , you can spend some time there and you will notice none is using them but these are not accesible to you anyways. I am not going to tell "Marriot" how to handle their own business, but if this is the case; wouldnยดt be smart to put a nice person in charge to handle this situation with the potential clients that may ask for those tables? , instead you put a guy with a tatoo on the neck and skin head who speaks with feminine voice but is rude!, the feminine side of his voice should be used to smooth the potential issues but instead he was defensive and offensive to me, when we had to talk about the issue, it seemed to me that this man has not been fu.....lly serviced during a long long time, and is acting agressively and rude, ...well , of course the installations are absolutely great and the rest of the staff is 100% profesional, they served me very well , except that this man squandered the good moment and place, and it seems he may be the captain or something , he did not even mentioned his position when he talked to me without me requesting his presence or assistance. I visited the place yesterday sep 28 at 18:00 hours.

My boyfriend took me there for fine dinning experience and without a doubt itโs one of those one time experiences you need to have. Since it was a surprise I had no idea that it was a virtual reality show that needed to start at the same time for all guests. Nevertheless I called the restaurant because we were running 10min late with all the traffic in Times Square. And they were waiting on us to start the show. The view was amazing, the service was amazing as well. And the food was very good too. I was too full to finish my third course but I wish I could of eaten it all. The dessert was the best I have ever had and they added a special message for our anniversary which was a nice touch. They also offer you a wine to pair with every course so three glasses of wine. The whole experience is very unique and outstanding. The pictures doesnโt do justice to what we experienced.
The Muneton Limited Company
The view is amazing

About $20 for desert buffet, and about $40 for the full buffet. February 2020.
No alternatives to the prefix in the top section of the restaurant where only buffet option and cocktails are offered. You may choose to forego the food had only enjoy cocktails with the incredible view. Highly recommended!
There is a menu fancy, brunch is sundays only
Yes I recommend only having drinks here at the upstairs portion of he restaurant that also offers a buffet of apperatives.
It is a revolving restaurant and you get to see the best views of NYC from there. More importantly, the food is good and not prohibitively expensive.
Yes you can but there is an $8 cover charge if you're not staying in the hotel. Drinks are from $12-$19
10-1 pm
Not sure that might be a bit to casual though I was wearing dark colour scetchers that's similar
Probably. I don't see why not.
For me it was underwhelming. I went to the restaurant not knowing that there was a buffet on the second floor. The food arrived pretty fast but was still half an hour into our stay so we have already completed half a turn of the restaurant. Which brings me to the food, it wasn't good. My salmon tasted like water and my dad's cactus thing by his own admission wasn't very good either, not to mention it was kind of expensive (which is to be expected)
Jacket is not required, jeans are ok. Lately just about anything goes as long as it's not too torn or dirty looking. Dressing to go out to dinner is not what it was.
Check with your hotel clerk. There is also a View Up scale restaurant.
Between 1h and 1h15. Full rotation and dinner duration.
They are reasonable you can get a dinner for 30.00 and up depending on what you order
After 8pm in lounge
Not before March 2023 the petite chef took over
Due to the fact that Le Petit Chef took over they view restaurant, its not available till March '23.
Yes
Not while Le Petit Chef is located in the View, which will be till approx March '23.
It has been closed since March 2020! Its either they don't have the staff or management is too covid sensitive to reopen it
The reopening is clearly scheduled for next summer
One full revolution takes one hour. I stayed there for about 2 hours for the dinner.
About 80.00 per person, then there is the gratuity. So figure $ 200.00. That should get you in and out the door
They do have children, but my friend has a hilarious story about how they offered her kids whatever they wanted and all they wanted was chicken fingers, which still makes me chuckle to this day. Make sure your kids know what to expect!
I went last thursday with my 10 and 11 year old daughters...not a problem
Nope, they open at 17
If it's very crowded you get whatever is available dont go on weekend or holidays then you will get great seat.
Yes you leave it in storage
For just drinks in the Lounge it's first come first serve, no reservations. The full restaurant does not allow drinks only.
You can dress the way you want Feel comfortable :)
The value is 90 dollars per person, includes entrance, main course, and dessert ... it does not include drinks.
I made the reservation online on the Website
The dinner menu is $ 92 per person. It is a fixed 3-course menu.
Not sure, maybe 150? Are you asking as a whole or for a group at a table? I'd call for a good answer.
We went there and just ordered a drink and it was ok.
No
The last entree time is 9 but then you can stay as long as you want i think
Yes
Sorry, I am not sure...but I don't think so because the elevator goes directly to the restaurant when it is open & they greet you at the door to seat you. Seems they close off that floor while closed.
I had a Stella Artois Cider, it was $9. It is NYC though, lol
I saw customers with their children in there the evening we went so no I don't think there is an age limit
There's a few buffet sections and they're awesome ๐
We had a glass of wine and one sharable appetizer. It opens at 5 pm.
We arrived there after 8 p.m. There were a few selections for snacks from a small menu. A very heavy hors d'oeuvre buffet with dessert was also offered.
They take cards. The place is amazing
Most definitely!!!!, especially in the lounge area. But keep your eyes on them. It's easy to get disoriented. Remember that it's in the round
Yelp and google are different systems. Can't speak to either as better or not. Mayuri's comments are similar to my own. Its at top of the marquis marriot. Enter, follow signs to elevators on second floor.
Casual dress, jackets aren't required. You will see people wearing anything from jeans and sneakers to suits.
No...the top floor is really fancy menu, floor below is buffet
Dear Jacqueline, this forum is intended to ask questions to other Google users mainly. If you wish to contact the management, please do so directly by mail or phone
I don't know...was my first time over there!
Enter The View and you can reserve. Make sure it is at night for the views.
The buffet is only $40 per person.
I don't know that is some which U would have to ask before U go.d Don't know
For just a drink and even a gordious buffet of cheese and desserts you do not need a reservation.
There's no specific dress code but you might look out of place
The dress code is like in a regular restaurant, nothing is specially stipulated, free style to the best of your imagination, but I did not see men in shorts there;)
Drinks are pricey ($8 to $20) but the view is wonderful. Just as Goole what time the sun sets in NYC for the date you want.
Buffet is 40 dollars
Yes 8 for cover after 8 pm
Yes dinner,is upstairs lounge in one floor below fast food drinks
Set menu
Yes the restaurant makes a slow 360 revolution.
Yes
40,00 Dollars per person in the buffet on the 48th floor
An app where you can make dinner reservations...works very well
Best to give them a call...
Nothing but parking garages
I went without reservation and I was fine
Yes, and bring lots of money...very pricey....90$ for a piece of grouper!
Yes, teenagers are accepted but no alcohol for them. Reservation recommended!
