Food was delicious. Maybe a bit overpriced. Atmosphere was good for those facing into the restaurant, but on the outer edge of the restaurant it felt a bit like eating in a mall food court.

Food was amazing. If you're struggling for a reservation, try a Monday night!

The food was good, but the service was horrible. Our waiter forgot two of our items and was completely unapologetic, then delivered one (ribs) totally cold - I think he was just a bad seed because everyone around us with a different waiter seemed happy. However, given our experience, we wouldn’t go back even though the food was pretty good.

Was excited to try out David Chiang’s ssam bar. We were comfortably seated at the patio with heating on a cold night. We ordered a nice variety of appetizers plus 2 mains to be shared amongst the 5 of us. All the appetizers were extremely delicious. Hamachi with avocado squash, raw oysters with kombu vinaigrette, roasted corn, mixed green salad, bao with pork belly, crispy fingerling potatoes and cacio e Pepe rice cakes with truffle. Our fav was the rice cakes which is a marriage between East n west. The bao was exceptionally good too. For mains we had the fish and pork shoulder. The appetizers were definitely better and there is simply too few selection of mains.

So yes, you CAN theoretically throw peanut shells, candy wrappers and empty soda cans on the floor. However, you will be asked to immediately clean up the mess and then banned for life .

Prices vary but are comparable with gourmet spots in Manhattan. 20 to over that depending ....for the meals ...there are no appetizers there as that is their intended model Want to save money? Limit the drinks and you'll be good to go Btw, they serve the Japanese whiskey featured in the Bill Murray movie as the actor doing a commercial....Suntory.
Hopefully they don't run out. Call ahead
