I went without reservation and I was fine
I made a reservation a week in advance just in case. If it helps, it was a reservation in late November.
The two times i went.. i did not need any reservation... maybe on weekends or holidays one may need a reservation especially for a larger group. The lady at the lounge reception is very unpleasant though
