I was tricked and deceived by NTTA into establishing a new account where I already had a EZ TAG account they pretended they were not aware of. It wasn’t until over 4 days of conversations with some rude and not so rude Reps did I resolve the issue I guess, hope and pray. I went through numerous boxes in storage that I find that I found EZ TAG account and gave it to them they pretended like they search through all their records and couldn’t find anything. I was intimidated with threats of late charges 10-25 dollars tolls and fees. I was forced to establish another account I went back to EZ TAG and they told me that I didn’t have to they could have deducted the charges from EZ TAG account and I could possibly be billed twice by having one or two accounts. They should have realized only after countless days and hours an being persistent was I able to prove it. NTTA had already billed my account for $27 now I have to attempt to get my money back from them. It's funny now I have credit of $27 credit with bought toll authorities had one established of 4-5 days of constant talking going through storages with both organizations bye NTTA NO Thank you I only need one account. EZ TAG accountant for helping me clear this up, Thanks NTTA for wasting 4-5 days of my precious time you owe me! I was intimidated by late fees and toll charges anyone knows any good attorneys 😊 I have a story to tell!

It’s not like you’re charged for how long you sit on the road. Maybe you should leave earlier? Your schedule isn’t a concern of the NTTA.
Wouldn't take my divorce papers showing I no longer one the vehicle. Now want to charge me $700 in tolls and fees for a vehicle I no longer own . And yes the dmv is aware I no longer own the car. Tollroad is a private agency they only care about dollars. My court signed documents should've been efficient.
I totally agree! A private company should be a creditor only. How do they get to stop u from getting your tags renewed? If you don't pay, the only thing they should be able to do is put the debt on your credit report. That's it!!
it has happened to me twice & I have had a credit card on file for 3 years for automatic application of funds. This time they said I didnt have a card on file. Where did my credit card info. go !?!?
No there is not any type of plan or other discounts to unblock your veh. Block only the payment arrangement quote they give you. So you would have to pay the downpayment in order to have your veh. Reg. Unblock Hope it works out for you.
What questions did you have?
Not
I'd get in touch with NTTA and make sure you have the Police report. Incase they require one.
Please stop by at the local office in Plano. No appointment is needed. The service agent will be able to update your records immediately. If you have an active online NTTA account, you can also update online and save a trip.
You can call them and let them know you are paying your bill.
The fee is because you have requested your monthly statements to be mailed every month. You can call and let them know you dont want the statements to be mailed anymore.
It could also be from a rental/lease if you were briefly in the DFW area. Definitely need to call NTTA to find out.
Toll 49 is a different company. You would contact Toll 49 for questions about them.
You can Google some they are different numbers but they all reroute to the call centers so it's pretty much the same numbers go to the same place
You can log into your account to check
That depends on the postal service and if the address on your cars title is correct. If you drive on the tollway and don't have a prepaid account in good standing expect there to be an invoice and just call them with your info.
The general customer service number should work fine to speak with a person but you have to submit a Notice of Transfer with dmv to stop getting invoices then contact NTTA to dispute charges
They don't require Insurance to show. But a Credit card to put on file for Monthly payments towards your Tolltag
No they will be closed Friday.
You would need the phone number on your account and the license plate number of the vehicle if calling. If you go in person and don't have account info you can bring your ID and they'll be able to update the address if there is an old address on the account that you're not sure about. You would have to give them a tolltag sticker number or phone number or license plate number to find the account.
I prepaid for the Express parking lot at DFW for $46, when I got there the lot was full. The attendant gave some kind of voucher, and directed us to park at the terminal. 7 days later when I returned, and exited DFW airport, I tried to explain to a toll attendant, no help, told me to call NTTA. The next day I had a charge on my bank account for $197, i called NTTA, they told me don't worry, I will be refunded the difference. Two weeks later, no refund, I called again. They told me to be patient and they'd make notes in my account, it's been about two more weeks, nothing. I don't know the best way to resolve this, it is too much money to just let it go.
I also ordered a new tolltag online. Didn't receive it and called. They sent another one. Never received it either. I stopped by and they had me fixed up in like 2 min. Super customer service in the office.
They give you the updated total which includes current tolls incurred after the bill you have was printed.
It happened to me too. It takes ages to connect someone . The best, shortestand surest one, that's my opinion, to stop one of the offices.
Online, on the phone, in person. Call the company.
Its closed for the holiday Martin Luther King itll open back up on Tuesday
Yes. But you have to go back when you get your permanent tag
just go to the toll booth where you can buy the tags and they'll sell it to you not a problem just put it on your windshield and you're fine they set up an account you just pay your bill I usually prepay mine
Yes, remove your old decal. Then contact NTTA of your car change they will provide with new decal.
That's the number I called still just computer making me go in circles.
No, you cannot delete a tolltag. If you need to remove a vehicle from your account or cancel your account as a whole, you have to call NTTA.
How in the hell do you rack up $20k in tolls ?? Someone needs to learn fiscal responsibility *geeshhhh*
No
You can also request it online or through their mobile app if you have an existing account. You can create a new account online only (not thru the app).
Order online. It's easy. 😀
YES, YES IT DOES.
Or you can have a starter acct and deposit $20 for future toll credit. Add more money when it drops below $5
If you already did the vehicle transfer notification then you can call the customer service line and they can look up the license plate with the Department of Motor Vehicles and they can insert that day on the system without having you faxing it
If your plates are not from the US then you cannot be charged.
You can request a copy by mail, but it's quicker and easier to either go in person or call in, with your license plate number and name of registered owner ( if it's not you).
The best way is to go to the office. You can do it by mail or internet, but i always go.
Yes, as long as you have available funds on your account and the license plate on the vehicle matches what's listed on the account.
Vehicle registration and DL to get the toll tag
Thats a good one . If you just signed the title over and handed to the new owner and he or she never registered the vehicle , it will show the plates in your name . Thats the how of it. Im sure if ypuspeak to soneobe at the NTTA office thry will help you out with the charges . They are really nuce amd willing to help .
Call to cancel it because if you have a positive balance they will refund it back to you.
That's weird Aaron, did you hijack your dad's car back then?
You have to call or go in person to one of their offices.
Please pay
Go to the DMV with the name of the owner. You should ne able to get the lp#
It's only free if you have an NTTA account, you register the vehicle(s) through the TexPress service & activate the discount for the days and times you plan on driving through any HOV lane.
They will send you an invoice when you passed thru the tolls it took a pic of your lic. Plate and wherever the veh. Is registered that where they will send the invoice but you can call in 30 days if you dont get a bill you can call and give them your lic. Plate and they will tell you if you owe or not.
They just sent me a bill and me or my car have ever been to Texas. Plus the car they sent the bill for is in my wife's name.
Remove , trash it, make sure with the DMV that you updated your information also remove your name from the vehicle that you no longer own
Yes
If you have online account you can do it or call for information
If your bill doesn't show the date of the usage, then it's a late bill. They may be able to work with the late fees but not the actual tolls.
call NTTA customer service and they can give you all info time date and location.
Call The NTTA Number For Support Questions

They DO NOT get automatically notified when you receive permanent plates. It is your responsibility to ensure the plates are updated on the account any time the number changes.
