Went here for a conference and stayed from Sunday to Thursday. The place is beautiful inside and out. There is a big lake with bridges and a restaurant in the middle. The theme is Mexican/Spanish and most restaurants serve that kind of food. The sports bar (Rix) however, serves some American food too. 4 story lodging is scattered surrounded the lake and are called Casitas. Depending on where you get placed will dictate convenience of the area you want. There are 4 Disney Bus stops around the resort. I like stop #1 which is the main entrance stop because it goes straight to the parks from there. The sequence of the stops is 2,3,4,1. This hotel is a conference hotel with the conference in the middle of main building. Besides the casitas, this resort has rooms in the main building spanning 16 floors, 16th being a Lounge (Dali) and a restaurant (Toledo). There are about 3 pools, an arcade, a kids playground and other amenities for everyone. The highlight of the trip was how they handled Hurricane Ian. With the governor calling a state of emergency, Disney had to close their parks, so everyone in the hotel had to do something to pass the time. The hotel sold meal kits to help feed everyone during the staff shortage. They even converted Toledo into a buffet, and did not price gouge it. $20 for adults, and they served roast beef, chicken wings, shrimp and other things that made that $20 worth it, mind you, this is Disney. So $20 for what they served was surprisingly good! They closed everything by 10pm to encourage people to get back to their rooms, although they did not force people to leave. They put towels around main doors to help people dry up if they get soaked walking outside. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout the whole ordeal. For those stuck and had no choice but to stay, they even had a Hurricane Special for the room prices, about 20% off regular price. This was my first experience in a Disney hotel, and they delivered excellence! Good job, Disney and crew!

The resort was really nice. There were a lot of pools, and places to eat, as well as fun activities and fire pits scattered about. There were also a lot of paths and bridges for walking. Our room was small but comfortable. The bathroom was really nice and everything was very clean. I gave 4 stars because the refrigerator was super small and there was no microwave limiting our options for saving money on some of our meals and forcing us to the expensive restaurants which I suppose was the intention. However all staff we encountered were friendly and helpful, and we had a good time.

If you're staying at Disney this place is really nice. The rooms are top notch and the sports bar rix is a nice place to have a beer and catch a game It's got a great view and the people are really nice

Awesome place to come for your vacation.

There is a laundry room that takes credit cards and a dry clean service available through the hotel.
There is no direct bus from Coronado Springs to the Wide World of Sports Complex. If using Disney transportation, your best bet would be to take a bus to one of the theme parks, Epcot would be closest,, and catch a bus to Wide World of Sports from there. There is direct Disney transportation to Wide World of Sports from the All Star, Pop Century,, and Caribbean Beach Resorts.
Yes there is a small single Keurig in the rooms with coffee, tea and sugars
Certainly can!
No. But if you jave an emergency, dial 911. If you need medical supplies, there are several stores nearby, like Wal-Mart. The hotel does have a small store in case you forget something.
Yes, depending on the age groups you might consider adjoining rooms
Resort guest parking is $20 at Coronado Springs. If you drive to the parks as a resort guest no charge to park there for the day.
Yes, just ask at the front desk and they'll bring one to your room.
No not in the tower. There is concierge service that will get any of that for you
You are correct on all three. It depends on what kind of room it is, the suites have certain kinds of mattresses, and the ADA rooms have more firmer mattress. they tried to get quality mattresses for each room, but the more expensive rooms they were trying to put something in there different like Sealy, and then of course rooms that are rented out more frequently they tried a firmer mattress.
Yes, but there isn't a freezer part (in Casitas). It's about the size of a wine fridge.
Yes, there is a small snack bar with cereal and breakfast items just off the lobby. The food court also has a lot of snacks you can buy and take to the room.
They have The Market, Maya grill, Rix Sports Bar. Cafe Rix, Laguna Bar, Siestas Cantina
I don't know about email, but from the Disney website you can usually open a chat window to ask questions.
Yes, we were just there. We were told they still have a year to go. We stayed gone at parks during the day so the construction was never a bother.
Visiting Disney resorts and their pools are free to all guests. 💁🏻♂️
The tower has Keurig and cups! With the 50th anniversary coffee blend! I don't drink coffee but it was cool
No room service at this hotel considering they've got four restaurants on premises to choose from...two whom serve fresh pizza.
The Tower does not and the other buildings are "motel" style with outside walkways. But, the property is beautiful and there are so many places to enjoy it that you really don't miss having a balcony
Uber or Lyft is available buses only run to Disney parks
Sorry, I didn't see a spa when we were there a couple of weeks ago.
You can also valet for free at any Disney property if you have a handicapped placard.
Some rooms closer than others
You can do it either online or over the phone.
No the buses only stay on Disney properties but you can rent a car or call uber or lift.
The is trans available but remember you can't get get a bus from hotel to hotel. You would need to go to a park first which would/could take a lot of time. Lyft is probably your best option, unless you have a lot if time to wait/transfer.
Yes, there is free self parking but the lot is very small and is usually full. You might have to just drive up and down the aisles until you see someone pull out. Otherwise they have valet parking as well.
The buses that go to the parks pass in front of the hotel, it is free, take the one corresponding to the park you want to go to
My husband and I were charged around $20. Per night
The construction is only an issue if you stay in the Cabanas or near as the bridges are closed and you will need to walk along way round. There is a golf cart that will take you to el Centro but it's not regular. TV is 50 inch
Free transportation to parks and shopping/ eating at Disney Springs. Busses run every 20 min.
Construction was not a problem. Resort was lovely and yes there are beach towels
Yes, they are still available to book even though they are remodeling
My room had a standard hotel blow dryer, but it did not have a microwave. The room does have a mini fridge (no freezer) and a Keurig coffee maker though.
Yes!
It depends on when you stay. Park hours change depending on the season. And they have different magic hours available only to Disney resort guests. Some magic hours our early, 1 hour before the park normally opens. Some are late, 1-2 hours after the park closes.
We did online check-in through the My Disney Experience app a few weeks ahead of arriving and had an e-mail by 1pm with our room #.
Yes pools are open except typhoon lagoon and construction is almost done. It should be finished in around summer time this year!
Separate but you can get a package deal. I believe right now they have discounted the rooms.
My wife is a housekeeper there and says 8 to 10 for the pools and no indoor pool. Larger pool under construction should be open sometime in December.
You cannot walk. I think was about 15 to 20 minutes on the bus.
i used the my disney experience app i got my choice of checkin times, i had my room at 11am and went on my way ti the parks. Very easy
It depends on how you booked and what you're there for. Conferences have different policies than vacationers and a travel agent may have more benefits... I've never had any Disney property give more than a 14 days before travel (usually 8 for the conferences I go to) to have a penalty. The penalty within that timeline is usually the first nights fee. But outside that window it's a full refund. I suggest calling with your confirmation number. You can also talk to someone through My Disney Experience.
Yes, there are ceiling fan in all rooms. We had 6 room last week and all of them had fans
Most do, near the Dig Site there is remodeling going on. Around other places too. I'm in Coronado Springs and my section is remodeled fully.
Yes it will it also includes a towel return system
No they do not. They have a slide and a hot tub at the main pool though.
That I am not sure up I know that we have gotten rooms that have two queen-size beds in them. You could definitely call the front desk and they are very friendly and very helpful. If not worst case scenario Walmart sells a cheap little fold-up cot bring it with you and then you have two queen-size beds as well.
No sorry about that... if you go you also need to be aware that there "refrigerators" are WINE COOLERS!
Yes they currently charge now, depends on the length of stay
It depends on plan, there is two. The normal includes quick service and dinning and snack. Are like one point dinning place. The other one is bigger and includes the same but you can do the 5 star place..the best way is to go on sit and look it up and it should tell you. For me it's a good deal..
There are ice machine on each floor. Just have to walk a little ways around and find the signs for it. Follow the exit signs one way or another it will be there.
There is a McDonald's right by the animal kingdom ramp about a mile from the resort.
I believe that there are rooms available for that many guests.
If rumor holds, for nee mono rail cars, i forgive. But my car is no different on asphalt at All Stars than Polynesian. There should be no tiered parking rates
If you are staying at any resort, its free. Bring proof that you are going to an event and they may just let you in.
Yes. I travel with children and they make a mess. While housekeeping is not technically a tipped position, they are definitely underpaid for the work volume they are required to do.
They vary depending on what plan you choose. I was told about three levels with the top being two sit downs. The range was 50-100+ a person.
Just send to the resort address. When you get the delivery confirmation, call the bell service. They will help you get it. They put it in a locker for me and then sent me a text with a code to get it at my convenience. Easy peasy.
The pools are not heated, but the climate in Florida keeps the waters at a comfortable temperature.
Generally those are best made around the 10 day before arrival time. This is to try to insure there is a room available in your preferred area.
In the hotel they have maps to get to parks if needed. The hotels also offer free bus service from hotel to any of the parks and back from the parks to the hotel.
