Fun atmosphere for the kids and helpful staff but the rooms are tiny and you have to harass the front desk for housekeeping. It was incredibly annoying to come home every day to an overflowing trash can and no fresh towels. For the price there’s almost nonexistent service. They should not advertise that they provide housekeeping every other day if that’s not a service they provide. False advertising.

Great layout, pools and food service. Rooms were tight on space, but overall comfortable. Kids loved it.

Strong drinks, hot moms. Things for the kids to do. I’d say that’s a win.

very adequate and quiet

Yes it does. Well life jackets anyways. All Disney resorts do. My daughter is wearing one right now
Yes they are heated, but there have been times when they close them. So plan accordingly.
Yes, if you are arriving to and from the Orlando International Airport there is a shuttle service you can utilize called the Disney's Magical Express(DME). You can simply set this up with the resorts main concierge desk by providing your airline carrier and flight number.
It will be open until fall of 2020.
Ground floor facing the lake finding nemo suites x
What if flight not until 5pm & you have to check out at 11am can hotel hold cases until your ready to go to airport
Yes. They receive. No extra charge
There is a kid pool, a great playground, a large game room, picture opportunities with carictors from the movies cars, and little mermaid.
No fitness center. They just have the trail and the pools. There also is no hot tub at the pools at this level resort.
Its moderate and really fun but hot bring sun screen
Yes, I have stayed in Little Mermaid and Lion King. Both had air.
Yes they do
90 percent of the gate guards will not let you in to tour around because by Disney policy that is not permitted. However some guards are nice and will let you go. Just make a quick service order for food there and show them at the gate on ur phone and they have to let you in. Easy as that.
If they receive, but there is a reception surcharge, donate 5 to 8 Dollar.
Yes and yes.
If you meet them at the resort then you will be able to ride with them anywhere just have to give their name at the gate of the resort
Is not that far is a walkable path, unless you have problems with walking or disability then is better for you to get something closer
The bus is the easiest. But some parks they run less buses too. I had a very bad experience I'll never take a bus again my wife hates the idea. If you are dvc parking is free ,otherwise you have to pay .but with your own car you are there in 10 minutes , when the buses are packed at the end of the day or the start of the day for that matter, you can take 40 min to get there if the first bus is full already. . I have lost as much as 1 hour just getting in a bus and getting to another park we always take our car now . 10 minutes to park so you have to walk a little . Beats waiting for a second bus . And you can leave when you want not wait the 20 or 30 minutes for the bus you just missed. I find you get alot more done, when you dont depend on other people.
Yes. But you need to confirm your flight numbers with Disney prior to your trip so you can they can reserve your spot. Don't just show up expecting a ride. While it is free you still need to register. It's really nice. You put special tags on your luggage and after you check your bags prior to your flight you don't worry about them and they are delivered direct to your room.
Call the front desk and tell them. They will work with you.
The main pool is impressive, but no slides. It's so big, I counted 5 lifeguards on duty ...
Mini fridge, microwave, small coffee pot and some utensils and paper plates was in my room.
No booking.
I stayed in the lion king suite and there was an iron board and an iron
Yes
No. You should buy passes to the parks, meals and hotel accomodations separately
Bus comes every 20 minutes. I'd say about a 15-20 minute ride.
As far as I know it is dog friendly
They are a little distance. Totally different areas
By bus about 15-17 minutes from resort to disney springs. By car about 10 depending on parking. It's pretty easy to get to disney springs from the resort and they have multiple parking decks so parking is easy. Bus waits can happen anywhere from 5 to 15 minutes, but convenient in prime hours.
We used Sunshine Flyer. Booking ahead was easy and they were such a joy to work with! Would recommend them highly, especially if you like the train theming!
The skylines is the fastest way to get to epcot and Hollywood Studios
It depends a lot on each area, in the cars area there are rooms with that theme and in the Lion King ones the same, there are also nemo
There are three beds in the Cars rooms. A regular queen, and a couch pull out and a Murphy bed that are both full size. You could probably accommodate them all, but you might feel cramped. There are also two full bathrooms in each suite.
Depends on what resort u go to?
Always, you'll find a coffee maker with samples and sugar in every room.
The Little Mermaid rooms are the closest rooms at Art of Animation to the gondolas, but it's still a little bit of walking.
I believe I was told the buses run approximately every 20 minutes between the hotels and the parks. This frequency tends to increase around park opening and closing, and I do not feel like I ever waited for a bus for that long. The resorts also have boards that will sometimes display how long until the next bus comes. If you are at one of the skyliner resorts (which are art of animation, pop century, or Caribbean Beach resort), the buses to Epcot and Hollywood studios run approximately every hour or so.
That depends on which parks you want to visit at the time and how many days you want to stay
In the room we stayed in , it had a fold out bed with in the wall
If there is always transportation
I don't truly know. Bt u might wanna go to disney.com/ careers. And check here first to see if u can apply this way. Good luck
There is 1 king bed, a pullout couch and a bed that comes down from the wall
The Big Blue Pool closes at 11pm. I tried to swim at midnight last night and found that out the hard way lmao
No food at hotel but nearby is subway and cicis pizza eat as much as you want for one price
The main pool right outside the lobby and cafeteria building is the Nemo pool, that's the best spot for little ones. There's zero depth entry, as well a deeper end for adults, but there's also a great splash pad area and a small playground right outside the splash pad. Perfect for toddlers!
No, it is not. There are usually places in the parks where they are available to greet visitors and give autographs. They are also available in certain restaurants but you have to book in advance.
We've just returned from AOA 2 kids. We stayed in the little mermaid suite. Shuttle was perfect, food was more than adequate but nothing I would write home about. Kids loved the swimming pools and watching movies under the stars pool side. Location wise no Park was more than a 10 min shuttle ride :-)
No, they have central AC where you can control it inside your room. You can set it to how warm and how cold u would like it to be.
It's just like any of the other resorts. It's very Disney themed, but it's not a studio learning space.
There are no internet orders. All rooms have free wifi.
Pools are open until 10pm The laundry rooms are located next to the pools. They sell off brand laundry detergent and stuff in a vending machine next to the washers I think it's $3 to wash and $3 to dry You can pay with a credit card
If you call you can get picked up by a golf cart
11 for check out and 3 for check in, although our room was ready before noon.
Umbrellas with clamps designed for bicycles are available - you might try one of those. My favorite time to walk around the parks is the hour before and the hour immediately after sunset!
Hi Jim, I'm not certain where specific room locations are. I assume each of the hotel's themed sections have them. Here is a helpful article about Disney's handicap accessible rooms in general, specific room options, and how to book them. https://diz-abled.com/reserving-handicapped-accessible-rooms-in-the-disney-world-resorts/
Buses stop running 2 hrs after the park closes. Stay at Pot Century, better hotel then Art.
You can do either... Stairs are on the outside and 2 elevators are located in the center of the building.
Yes, it depends on the number of days you are staying. The more days you are staying the cheaper the tickets are. Download the Disney app and see all the magic :)
We stayed there in the Nemo suit this valentine week. Room's have 3 beds and 2 baths. I think one should be good since you guys be there only to sleep. If someone hates being in crowded places then get 2. One room was perfect for us, again since we were there to sleep mostly
It is but... If you are separate families it may not be. It is like a 1 bedroom apartment: Bedroom with queen bed and full bathroom. Dinning area with a Murphy bed that pulls down over table enough for 1 adult or 2 small kids. Living area with pull out couch (full size bed)
Three beds. The couch folds out and it's a pull out bed over the table.
Yes, they do charge to park. $13 a night
Yes. Provided packet ones. They continuously forgot to replace the packets though, so talk to housekeeping or leave a note.
Yes. All you need is a stroller and you're good to go. Walking is a must. Have fun...
Not Keurig, but they are Joffrey's pods.
Yes, there is. They have a selection of multiple beers, wine and mixed drinks in the self serve cold cases.
Yes. They are standard in all Disney Resort rooms now.
Disney takes care of people with special needs. Just call ahead.
The hotel will definitely help coordinate Disney transportation. There's several buses that have scheduled stops at the hotel that will take you to all the Disney properties. There's also the newer "Minnie Van" service that can get you places from the hotel.
1 large pool plus a splash pad.
Yes
Yes there are. They aren't very big but big enough to store money, passports and some other small valuables.
Yes...and you can request for a microwave too.
8:00am 12:00pm
They have a room service delivery service...that runs till late with beer pizza etc after that you would need to go out of the resort. Vending machines are in every block too. X
I think you would better off contacting Disney's costomer service. They will get you in direct contact with the righr person for whatever you are trying to accomplish
We got a Nemo family suite and 6 adults would have fit very comfortably.
If you stay overnight at the resort and park, there's a fee now but it's only $14 a night. Then you can park for FREE at the parks during the day (which is normally $22 a day) so it's not bad value.
We weren't very impressed with the quality/taste and price of the food...thank goodness for a great Uber Eats selection.
For a 6 month old I'd bring my own.
You can show up as early as 0730 with your bags and they will courtsey hold them. You will do all the check in stuff and they will text you with your room number and they will also deliver your bags to the room.
About 4 minutes.
The resort welcomes two dogs per guest room for an additionalfee of $50 per night.
There is also a very cool arcade off of the main lobby with the worlds largest Pac Man game!
Cars family suites and The Little Mermaid standard rooms are pet friendly
No gym..but carrying a backpack with water and snacks for the kids combined with 26000 steps was a good workout.
Check in I believe is at 3 pm, check out is at 11 am.
It is no longer free. However if you booked before March 2017 your parking is still free.
3PM but that is not concrete. I have been able to check in around 11AM in the past. Very rare, but sometimes possible.
Dogs are allowed, for sure. Don't know about cats.
Yes they do. I seen them yesterday at the gift shop.
Yes they do, I had a dog about 70lbs with us. You have to let them know ahead of time bc there is a fee, but they also get a cute little doggie goodie bag! I saw dogs of all sizes there during our stay. Have fun!
4 sections based on Cars, Nemo, Little Mermaid, and Lion King, very fun.
No, all parks are accessible by Disney bus transportation.
No bsss de cusss ni de bosss!
The main building is not locked. You can use the Resort amenities and the main building area. You could even use there cafeteria if you would like.
Coffee is available in the food court
Its a small mini fridge, no freezer
Yes, the pools are usually at about 84 Fahrenheit. They're always heated, from my understanding.
laundry in Little Mermaid area is 8am - 8pm located in the pool area
As of 26 January, 2018 it was $3(us) for a washer load and $3(us) for a dryer load. Detergent and fabric softener may be purchased for $1(us) each. One package of detergent is used per wash. Using fabric softener is optional. If you have a US credit/debit card, you will need to use it. You can get a swipe card at the Front Desk for a set amount if you are from a different country. The machines do not use cash.
Yes. You can use all the pools. There is also a coffee maker, refrigerator and microwave
No, the outdoor pools are heated but were closed while we were there a couple weeks ago
I'm not sure what Sky Channel is, but they do have cable available in each room. There are pretty much all Disney-owned stations, a park-info channel and then lots of other channels outside of that, such as Cartoon Network and Fox.
I dont think so but you could ask for a room that has never had an animal in it . I just left Art of Animation on Friday and I witnessed them steam cleaning the rug of every room after someone checked out
I think it's something like 72 hrs to get a full refund but it's best to call them up because depending on the circumstance they will make exceptions to their rules.
