My husband, 9mo daughter and I had such a fun time here! There are 5 different exhibits, all of which are very fascinating. There are sharks, penguins, really big fish, stingrays, and more. Employees are friendly and accommodating. If you go on a Monday after 4pm, there's a "family night" discount, which we took advantage of. Overall, worth going!

This was our first time here. I loved the shark tank that you get to walk through and the penguins! So much to see. My tip is to get tickets in advance online and go in right when they open, to see some of the exhibits without crowds and lots of kids. It is easier to get pictures when there aren't as many people and when lots of kids come in it can get loud. There are lots of animals and exhibits to see and it is definitely worth the admission price.

Loveland living planet aquarium offers so many features that keep me and my child entertained for hours. One of our favorite parts of seeing the sharks in the large tank and being able to see them swim over our heads as we go through the tunnel. It is always very neat and clean and the staff is friendly! I do feel that a day pass is overpriced, but they do offer a student and military discounts. I also believe that seniors and children get discounts as well.

This was such a nice place to visit. Great displays lots of information. There is food available from snacks to an entire meal. The gift shop is delightful from stuffed animals and to t shirts and hoodies. Great picture opportunities. You might consider paying for a membership if you're going to visit often

Thank you for inquiring about our animal welfare, and more importantly, thank you for caring! The welfare of our animals is of the utmost priority for our organization. All of our animal exhibits are designed with their well-being in mind and meet or exceed the standards set by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA). LLPA collaborates with zoos and aquariums around the country to ensure the survival of threatened and endangered animals as part of several Species Survival Plan® (SSP) Programs. These are conservation and cooperative breeding programs that help maintain genetic diversity and stabilize the population of specific species. Some of our SSP Animals include the Clouded leopards, Gentoo penguins, Linnaeus's two-toed sloths, Zebra sharks, and many more.
Children pay 14.95 and adults19.95
They have two touch pools where you can touch stingrays, urchins and starfish. You can't really touch the fish cause they're skittish and will swim away... But touching them can also damage their scales so it's discouraged. They also have a public sting ray feed every day that costs $6 extra where you can touch and feed the stingrays. They also have a penguin encounter where you pay $25ish extra and can feed the penguins. They also have animal encounters in the lobby at varying times throughout the day where they will bring out certain animals and do short presentations; lizards, snakes, roaches, etc.
Yes. If you want to leave and come back, you can, you just have to stop at the Information Desk and get a stamp on your way out.
So if you are looking for a party package, it's $300 for a party room with up to 20 guests, and $500 for up to 40 guests for 2 hours in a private party room. This includes admission to the aquarium for the day and to Tukis Island play center for you as well as all of the party guests. Each party is attended to by a staff member, and only one staff member is assigned to each party so you have that one staff member's attention and help for the whole party time. Each party package includes beverages of your choice, and 2 pizzas for 20 guests, 4 pizzas for 40 guests. You can purchase additional pizzas for around $15 a pizza. All of the food comes from the Reef Cafe located on the first floor of the aquarium. I personally love the pizza 🍕 and I've never heard any complaints
They have adult events (live music, lovely catering, alcoholic drinks, a generally "red carpet" vibe, ) for fundraising. I went with my sister, through her work, last week for one such event and it was amazing. It was after closing and pretty swanky! Join their email mailing list to keep aware of such events. 👍

Most are shown on their website but you wont be disappointed. Great aquarium. My girls love it there!!

The Hogle Zoo. But this aquarium has a lot of cool exhibits. My faves were the penguins and the sharks.
Depends on the Sunday. If it's not a holiday it's not that busy. I would plan on at least a couple hours! 😎😎 Lots to see.
Yes it was busy but you could still see most of the exhibits. You would have to wait for a view for some of the more popular creatures but it was not bad. The 'flow' through the aquarium was nice.
$19.95 for Adults $16.95 for Teens, Military, Students, and Seniors $14.95 for Children Children 2 and under are free
The only animal encounters on their website is penguin and stingrays, and that's a separate fee. You do get to hold a butterfly in their butterfly exhibit if some are close too.

Yes. The Aquarium only closes on Thanksgiving and Christmas
I believe if you bought tickets you can use them anytime during the week except for when they're closed obviously. May want to call them when they open to double-check. Memberships can be used at anytime. Also, it's a membership can get you into a few extra things like the play area and you walk right through not having to wait.
Hi Lisa. We love the sloths too! We have two sloths in the Journey to South America hall, but we do not do animal encounters with them. They have limited contact with certain keepers only. We do have separate Animal Meet & Greets, as you mentioned. Those animals include the hedgehogs, lizards, snakes, birds, armadillos, and much more!
It depends on the size of your group but most people spend about two hours exploring the Aquarium.
The price varies. Adults: $20 Teens/military/students/seniors: $17 Children: $15 Kids 2 and under are free. (Prices I listed don't include tax)
Yes there is a fee. It seemed a little high but when you compare to Hogle Zoo or Tracy Aviary or the museums, it seems in line. It was worth it. You are not just seeing a few fish in tanks. There is a butterfly exhibit that is fun.

They have a few different kinds of jellyfish that they showcase at different times, but the two you'll see most often are moon jellies and sea nettles. Occasionally they also have lions mane and comb jellies!
I don't see one on the calendar, which is unfortunate... that sounds like a really fun idea! It seems like it would be an easy event to set up. They could hide little plastic eggs in tanks and cages, not to actually collect, but mark on a map for a prize. Hey, LLPA, want to hire me? 😜 (For years I worked in the education department of Thanksgiving Point, soooo...)
It says on the page. Opens 10am closes 6pm. Closes 8pm on Mondays

Yes and young children are given a chance to hold one on their hand
I do of you go to my face book.
You'll need to get in touch with the Aquarium to get pricing on that.
When all the older kids are at school. When people are working. Take time and treat you and the kids, we went around 1 on a Tuesday and it was great.
No, negative.
When i went on member night they had one of three subspecies of the painted lady butterflies in the exhibit.
They do have a limited number of wheelchairs available for a $5.00 rental fee. They are available at the Information Desk in the main lobby.
I called them and they stop selling tickets and letting people in at 6:00pm it takes about an hour and a half too see all the exhibits and about 15 minutes to see any one exhibit
Wheelchairs are available, but not power chairs. There is a elevator and the whole facility is wheelchair friendly. You can make it through the whole building without using the elevator.
Just ones that you push yourself, no electric ones
Hmmm... It looks like I don't have any record of an order from you. But that's probably because I'm just someone who left a review of the aquarium and am otherwise not affiliated with them in any way. 😉 I would recommend contacting them directly.
Yes, I believe you can buy tickets in advance.
Per the website: 1:00 p.m. Thursday-Tuesday Limit 10 people per encounter Children under the age of 14 must be supervised by a ticketed adult Children under 5 are not allowed $24.95 per person or $19.95 for Aquarium Members

19.95 for adults, 14.95 for kids. Kids under 2 are free. Sometimes they have specials on their site.
The one that's outside it should be a tortoise
No. Buy online for discount
I didn't see anything listed on the site or in person, just information for parties. A phone call or email would be required to know for sure.
We were there for about 2 hours, definitely depends on you. But to walk through it slowly and see everything it would definitely take 2 to 3 hours.. And it's extremely hot inside so ice water is a must.. Hope I could help..
Yes. That is the best way to do it because you don't have to wait in line/worry if they sell out. They sell them in time slots and once they are out, you have to wait for the next available time slot.
It's open now. Or was when we were there 5 days ago.
The regular price for tickets is $15.95 to $20.95 for age group of 18 to 64. And 65+ the price is $12.95 to $17.95. Military. $12.95 to $17.95. Student. $12.95 to $17.95. I would recommend looking at getting a yearly membership if you want to go to the aquarium quite often. That is what my wife and I have had for 5 years. It has paid for it self. We go at least once a week if not more often
If you seat right underneath people will be walking around you since it's in the center. There is grass around the claws but not directly underneath it, it's cement.
