Its usually really busy.

The trick is to plan ahead and arrive early. Avoid the long lines for admission by opting for a membership instead, if you have kids you can plan on at least a few trips to the aquarium in a year, right? It makes it worth it.

On holidays it might get pretty crowded, but usually it's not too bad even on weekends. You may end up having to park in the adjacent lot on busy days, however.
