We do have a bird-eating spider (also known as Goliath Tarantula), which is the largest spider in the world, but it is not as big as that. Ours is the size of your average tarantula, but the species can have a leg span of up to 12 inches. Despite their name, it does not commonly eat birds. You can find this species in our Journey to South America Hall on the first level.

Unless it's brand new, I don't believe that's there!
