There were sharks in the tunnel walk through tank, when we last visted the aquarium on last Saturday the May 5th.
It's easy to miss. But there's actually 2 different places you can see the sharks. A huge aquarium and a tube one that u walk through
We do have a 300,000 gallon shark exhibit with five species of sharks! It's in the Ocean Explorer gallery. There's a 40-foot walk-through tunnel where you can view the sharks, and two large viewing windows.
There are lots of sharks in the exhibit near the cafe. You have to kep on going after the opportunity to touch the stingrays and starfish.
There is a very large tank with love sharks, sea turtles, rays and several types of fish. It's in an area called Ocean Explorers, you have to walk down a hallway that is to the left of the pool where you can touch the rays. There is a tunnel to walk through and then a large viewing window if you continue on.
They have a fairly large shark tank with numerous sharks in it, there is even a tunnel to walk through the tank in which they also offer yoga classes before opening time. Perhaps it was just missed or they removed the sharks for cleaning purposes during your visit?
