Really good place to buy low cost furniture. It is q pretty big store do it may take you some time to find what you're looking for. The restaurant is also good. Be cautious because it is too crowded on weekends.

I have a love hate relationship with ikea. If I just want to shop and get inspired I get overwhelmed by so many choices and then half of the things I pick out are not in stock. When I’m intentional and use the app and check what’s in stock it goes much faster and much less stressful I do like eating here. I fed a family of 5 with dessert and drinks for like 58 dollars.

One of my and my 10 year old daughter’s favorite places! IKEA! Come for the deals, stay for the restaurant. You’ll always be in here longer than you expected, so put on some walking shoes and prepare yourself. This latest visit I tried to avoid the showroom entirely. But no luck, daughter asked to check out the kids decor for ideas for her room. I personally love going to the marketplace. Live plants, bedding, lighting! Love it.

I came to return. They have a new system with QR code to register, but no explanation after the register. So people just standing. Even the text came, still people have to wait the line. It was doesn’t make sense. The system must be change. And, please be careful at the counter, she could not say “please and thank you” and no greeting. I hope only she did. If IKEA is serious to develop automation, please reduce those kind of person at first. Electrical device is better than those kind of persons.

Yes, it has two places where you can purchase food. It has a main dining area on the top floor, which is currently closed for renovations, and it has a small quick-service counter just past the registers that sells pizza slices, hot dogs, chips, cinnamon rolls, softserve ice cream, soda, and water.
Yes. There's an outdoor and underground parking. The parking for families with baby strollers and electric cars is small and close to the entrance, yet outdoor. There is also another lit near that lot. There are two underground lots. Lots of parking.
Yes you can pick it up from the store
C&C was last available in Atlanta on 6/6. The website claims it's open but it's not. Would be nice if they said when it will reopen (if at all).
IKEA products are low quality and customer support is extremely poor on the phone and in the store. If you are having difficulties I am not surprised. I have had many issues with thier furniture and delivery and spent hours trying to get them resolved. My sympathies! They may look nice and seem cheap but the hidden costs are much greater in annoyance.
I would like to know who loves it and any tips they may add l. I would also like to know if anyone has had a problem with any of the products???
Only time will tell. Ikea employees will tell you that they do not know when new stock will arrive. Right now there are many supply chain disruptions that are delaying international goods - so it may take awhile. If you contact Ikea they will be able to confirm for you if that particular item has been discontinued.
In Atlanta you would park in the Click and Collect designated parking spaces, then follow the instructions on the sign in front of your parking space.
Great Question. But i would definitely contact IKEA'S Customer Service Rep's due to Covid precautions as well as delivery charges currently.
I'm sorry, I'm unfamiliar with their return system. Good returns.
Wear comfortable shoes...I suggest a mask and bring lots of patience...more than you need for a typical shopping trip at IKEA
Terrible customer service in every way. The customer seervice in the kitchen area is better, I imagine they work on commisiion.
The store is closed. Curbside pick up only. Wait for the "Ready for Pick up" email before you head out. Pick up times are from noon to 6:30pm
Unsure about exact reopening. There is curbside pickup available with click and collect
yes you can where are you located
No they do not. They serve salmon and chicken strips. The only thing vegan is the viking candy.
They let you in the restaurant area at 9:30. They don't let you into the showroom unitl 10
Yes you have to wait till it's in stock near you then order it.
I'm in Alabama, too. That's strange. Sounds like an error. You will have to call. However, for us, it was worth going to the store in Atlanta to see everything for ourselves. We waited until we were already up that way so the drive wouldn't be 3 hours one way just to IKEA, though. (We're in Montgomery. ) I still recommend going there some time if you can. Cool place.
bedding might be something that would need to be put together inside your home therefore it would fall on you probably but they would have step by step instructions. smaller easier to move items they would probably put together for a fee. Good luck
Did you check their website? You could also give them a quick call, but you might have better luck getting ahold of someone on a weekday.
Yes, ikea is an SCP
They check on the computer and what ever store closes to you that's were it will come from
There's a difference between the app and the store
I am not aware of that, but if you go I would have some patients for sure
They do but it's closed
Yes at the outdoor parking, not in the parking garrage
All businesses say masks required but most don't enforce it. This ikea I think the patrons are all very aware and all had masks on. The place is set up so it's easy to social distance. And it was very clean and uncluttered.
Unknown
Yes a few
Yes. Keep your order number. They have a designated pick up area you can pick up at.
Had the same issue a few days ago. I had to go to the store. Customer service there is pretty good. But alot of things are out of stock due to covid and people buying up home office furniture
I don't know what to tell you but if it was me I will call Ikea helpline
The product I purchased was exactly where the website said it would be.
Go to a kiosk at the greeter station and put your name on the board.
No. They still have it closed to the public. They're also in the process of putting out new displays
I didn't. So I have no information about that.
Contact customer service at the store....they will direct you on the steps you need to take.
Yes you can. And you can pick it up at your local store
They state that it's your responsibility, but I've always had staff there willing to help.
It would be better to call them and ask or email them instead of asking on here
Make sure you register prior to going to store, otherwise you will not be attended to until your number is called.
Least busy time would probably be most weekday mornings. Busiest is the weekend.
The website will have the different styles of legs with part numbers under the table top
When I checked yesterday the earliest delivery was August 9th 😶
You need to call the store to get the link.
Yes
They do...took me forever to find it. Place an order as if you are getting it delivered. You will enter your zip code to get a shipping estimate. Then you get the option to do click and collect. Then select the store. It may take days before you can get this to process. They are very backed up. Works best to place order between midnight and 5 am. Seriously...
Yes at 930am
Sorry, I don't work for Ikea. Check online for updates
The restaurant is closed until further notice and the bistro will be open within the next few days, waiting on a few items to come in, for the safety of the customers
Ikea ATL is scheduled to open Monday June 8th with an opening by 11
Only for items in AS IS everything else will be regular price or call your local stores and see the website for further information.
IKEA provides terrible customer service both on the phone, onine and in store. I have been robbed of much money by them in the same way before.
No date has been set. Click and collect is open however.
Not yet, not untill June 14th
Yes. 1200-6, click and collect. Curbside pickup
Right now, you can make your purchases online then drive to the store and associate will load your car for you with the items you have selected. As far as a full opening, they have no date yet.
Customer service is awful and this is a common occurance.
Yes
I'm not too sure. Give them a call.
Always less crowd around noon
Hi! @ Stephanie Bentley: An appointment is highly recommended! The IKEA kitchen team will help you to design your room and will guide you through the process of ending up with the room of your dreams! As @Javier Mendez said, you do not need an appointment and you can order online if you have the cabinet specifics on exactly what you want.
Definitely boxed
If you have an online order confirmation, yes. Otherwise, it's not their policy to accept returns without a receipt.
Try here https://www.ikea.com/ms/en_US/homeshopping/missing_damaged_parts.html
Yeah. On their website and Google and yellow pages.
They should be open until 6pm
10 am to 6 pm for July 4th
Yes it has free WiFi
The items are sold separately...ie., matching chair is sold seperately from the matching ottoman...you can mix and match...but you cannot request for instance a color that is not listed or to change the measurements of an item that is not listed...hope this helps.
It depends on which shelf was purchased. However when installing without provided instructions i recomend finding a stud in your wall and fastening directly to it. I recommend searching "how to install ikea shelves" in YouTube.
Yes depending on the base you select. We intentionally purchased a base that we could change out doors and fronts when we finish the remodel
Yes
Yes, they deliver and assemble. For a price.
They range in prices. And have sales all the times for different things
You will have to use your own tool kit
Call the location. They have literally thousands of products.
Yes they do deliver. The rate starts at $39 for large items and $9 for small items.
Yes! You are able to. You will need your Id for collateral
IKEA has a forgiving return policy. If you want to return the whole item it's possible. But if you just want to replace that one broken piece I'm sure just emailing or calling with a proof of purchase at hand, they'll gladly send you a spare. They might even sell it on their website. Check the manual to see what the piece is called, you can also find a digital version of the manual on the IKEA webpage of the desk. So your best bet would be to first search up your desk, read the manual and find the extra piece. Then order it.
8am
I've had the Hemnes for about 3 years and enjoy it. Here's a link to all of their desks. https://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/categories/departments/workspaces/20649/
Yes they do but they are not motorized. Hope this helps!
Get you mummy to check our website or ring us
The 12 Hotel
I'm no sure too. I pretend go today and I let you know. But I have small dog too and I carry with him In my bag for places not allowed for pets.
Yes
I have never seen any in the Atlanta store
Unfortunately I recommend going to the store.
Their are lockers you can rent. They seem to be big enough for a carryon. They're strait back over by the elevators (to the cafe) when you walk in the entrance by smalland.
No we don't
Ikea does not buy furniture, but to add to another local guides list of options you can sell your furniture on apps like; offer up, Letgo, 5 mile etc. You set the price people might counter offer but you ultimately choose who you want to sell to and for how much. They can either pick up from you or meet in a place of your choosing.
The restaurant was open, went there a couple of weeks ago
There's a number in the website that will direct you to a human.
This is a Google managed site. Refusal to check a website or make a phone call is very LAZY.
Yes, they are called Sleeper Sofa at IKEA. Balkarp model is $119. Nyhamn model is $288.
I've never seen employees help load at any IKEA. I'm not sure about your situation, but the corporate website says they offer loading help to customers with disabilities, but nothing about able-bodied customers with respect to loading. If you are able-bodied, I still can't imagine you'd fail to find help if you need it though, even if you have to ask a stranger instead of an employee.
No
we were.there about noon and both of them were open.
No
They don’t deliver. I purchased two bookshelves and two extensions over a month ago and paid $59 for shipping. They changed the shipping date twice and now both have passed. I have called, emailed, messaged and pm’d multiple times without ever reaching a customer service rep. Messages are ignored. I would recommend taking your business elsewhere.
Each store has different hours so I don't know specifically. I only know that they babysit 4-10 year olds for one hour for free.
It depends on where and you will have to assemble yourself.
Yes, yes, yes. This is like the 3rd tobe someone has asked via this medium.
Yes
Yes you can. Call or order online for pick up. You can also have an item delivered with a delivery charge.
The restaurant now opens for breakfast at 9:30am and closes around 8:30pm
You will be lucky if they have ice or even any ice cream available. Very disappointed when we went last week.
They do, it's depends which section (outdoor or indoor), I would check their site though to check the style you want and if it's in stock because there are plenty of times its out of stock and it'll save time on the travel
They have a returned items/clearance section that may contain chairs for a cheaper price.
Don't know I was visiting Atlanta when I was there
You can call customer service with the product number and they will be happy to replace either defective or missing parts. I had an issue with some missing screws with a set of bunk beds and the only question I got was, how many do you need?
The 888 number doesn't work and I nwed to speak to customer service about a broken piece that came in the box. What number should I call so I can get a new side to my bookcase???
I don't think so.
Closed this past Wednesday
You can get things delivered for a fee if thats what you mean.
They do, but it was under renovation still last week. They do have the snack counter open with hot dogs, ice cream, chips, drinks and cinnamon rolls. Not sure when the food court will be open again.
Yikes.
On second floor, in show room if they have them. You pick them up on bottom floor by registers .
Sorry, I couldn't get an answer from anyone there.
How do I get some one to assemble two things I bought there recently
Normally there are lits of extra hardware there at the store, you have to ask customer service and it help to have model member.
They have glass vases of many sizes.
Another ignorant lazy Local Guide. This is a Google managed site. Refusal to check a website or make a phone call is very LAZY.
Call the number to ensure proper delivery
Wheelchairs are available inside the store. They have automatic doors and wheelchair accessible parking at all US stores. They also provide delivery and assembly assistance if you need it.
They sell food and we eat there. As a customer leave you dog at home unless it is a service dog. That would be appreciated.
Thats not a legit question is it???
The employees should be able to help you find a manager, but I know there's a spot in the back of the As-Is section at the half door and you're sure to find an employee in there that can help.
Athena, this is the communal QUESTION thread. If you have comments, leave them in the "reviews" thread instead of wasting the time and attention of those wanting to answer questions. Thank you!
No, there aren't any options for your entire home, but they can do a kitchen makeover. Just call or ask for assistance when you go in person. They're very helpful.
No, IKEA doesn't provide motorized carts/chairs but does have push chairs
Its better to call them before lunch, it takes lees time.
They had a special the other day...i think if you spent over 250 you would get free delivery....
They will, but it's typically by freight and very expensive.
