This shelter was great! I has an easy adoption process and I was able to bring home my fur baby, Raiden, after he got his neutering surgery.

I would like to see. Pictures of any small adult dogs you have
No and if you do they make you give money to feed the dogs
This is not the Humane societies website. This is Google maps.
Thank you I love him but I work third shift don't have time to care for him he is house broke and a very good dog
Spartanburg is always $35 and kittens are free.
Ok
Best bet is animal allies and if you get food stamps or Medicaid or Medicare it's cheaper
Yes you can as long as you have proof of residency
They have big dogs. No puppies. Puppies go to homes they dont get dropped at tthe humane society. That is the problem with the pet population. Everyone wants a puppy and there are good dogs needing GOOD ADULTS to take care of them and not just get tired of training them and they become "untrainable and spoiled". They wont housebreak them and soon they give them up or worse, let them out on the street to be picked up by the pound. Try getting an older dog. Train it, love it but only if you really want a dog. Thank you!!
I don't work there I adopted two puppies my father adopted two and I have a McCall I love watching and seeing the dogs and the cats but it's just a good place they're nice helpful and you can even spend time with them before you make up your mind take care and have fun
Yes you can.
As far as dogs are concerned, pretty much, yes. As far as cats, not as much. I volunteer there on Sat's walking their dogs and they have quite a few dogs there.
When I was at the Spartanburg Humane Society to adopt a dog $25 for an adult puppy $100
They need and accept the regular newsprint as long as it's a double sheet.
No they are not no-kill, but the rate of euthanasia is decreased greatly. The are not a registered no kill.
There was a waiting period. I don't know if there still is.
No.
They do have a vet. All lost and found pets that get reunited must be up to date with their vaccinations. They offer them for $15 .
Animal Shelter should be able to direct you to the right person....
They take donation.
Also consider the size and energy level etc
It’s Whenever they’re open which I went on a Saturday and they open at 12 on Saturday that was a good day for me
Greenville SC animal shelter
I don't have a clue?
You can go to their website sptbg human society and look at the animals they have and prices i think puppies 65 not sure.but they neture them shots ect..well worth price .
Definitely call them. They do have animals that aren't dogs and cats.
I think you have to call animal control
I believe they have one or u can definitely get one at petco or petsmart
I don't think so
If you live in the county call animal control. The shelter only takes animals from the city. Animal control will take the dog to Greenville I think. Or maybe take it to a flea market and try to find someone who wants a dog.
If u have adopted from here.. Yes.
Do u know the dogs name?
Hi Dusty. Contact the Spartanburg human society. SERVICES | Spartanburg Humane Society If you need to surrender your pet: 864-583- 4805, ext. 116 ... Humane Society has a very high standard of care for all pets in the shelter
Bring them during the normal business hrs hun they'll take care of em... Calling first is a great idea tho
Call and get the hours and drive over and look
First sorry you are even having to look into this.. 😢 If you drop them off and dont want back they just ask for donations. If you want them back you pay a set fee depending on size of dog. And depends on if you want body back or cremation. They have different options for that.. I had a 120lb dog. Had him cremated and got him back in a large nice wooden box and think I paid little over $100
It depends on its weight, age. It can range from 20 to 75 bucks. Just call and check
What kind of male cat? Mine ran off about a month to month and a half ago. He was starting to lose his hair and he has scratch marks from where he tends to get in fights. He was just getting over a respiratory problem.
Spartanburg animal control
Yes they do and cats also
Got 2 great little fur babies everyone was very helpful it was clean and the pets were well cared for
No county strays. Get a friend who lives in the city limits to turn the stray in. This is what we have become.Have to lie to help a stray cat some idiot abandoned
You need to call them. Kittens will be coming in soon. So they space may be limited.
It varies but it's best to give them a call before going up there.
They make other substrates which are great for guinea pigs, other than hay. If your daughter loves the guinea pig and takes good care of it, I would first seek other beddings. Guinea pigs are very social and live best with a companion, so if you only have one, it is best to find another companion as well...for best quality of life. While animals love their keepers, they find comforts in their own species that mankind cannot provide. :-) If she's looking for a good home, she could post a flyer at school and with permission of the parents, of course, another child could adopt and reduce the strain of another animal not having a forever home. :-)
No more ..they only euthanize for special reasons..and if owner wants it done.
There inventory of animals changes daily. Your best bet is to go there and look for yourself. If you don't find want you are looking for that day. It may be there in a few days. So look on a regular basis.
If you do you will need to pay for the release of the cat to the shelter.
Yes. It friendly I don't no want kind of dog it is still a big puppy you can have it
Only if you live in the city, I live in the county of Spartanburg and took a cat to them that was put out in my neighborhood because she was about to have kittens,They told me to take her home and call animal control, sounds crazy to me but I did and they come got her aborted the kittens ,fixed her from ever having more and brought her back the next day, I am really thankful for that, She is a very happy cat now,They really did do the right thing,She is a very young cat and I will feed and care for her as long as I live .Thanks again animal control
I don't know. Your best bet is to call them.
Prob kennel cough, my animals that we’ve adopted from here almost all have had it
Yes. But there is a cost. And you have to make an appointment.
I believe the limit is 3 pets per household
I would just go in and ask questions
Probably because they chose to have a day off for the public.
Dogs like 20 bucks. Not sure about the hamster
I have 3 kittens you can have for free
Call Spartanburg's animal control and leave a message and tell them what is happening
The humanext society is a great place . I feel if you go there and if you don't find what you want, just tell them what you are looking for and I'm sure they will work with you.
Yes they will let you hold animals love on them and depending the age may even let you take him for a little walk they welcome people wanting to give a little love to the animals
It depends on if you live in the city and how long you have had the animal. You might want to call and see
Talk with a training facility for service dogs.
Call animal control
Looking for a pug rescue
You should call the office they will be happy to help you with how much to surrender the dog where to bring it in they are really nice people who work there.
They do have them from time to time but you need to check with them for availibility.
You can see adorable pets on the website. To my knowledge they do not have any German Shepherd puppies.
So I can work there
As long as they're unopened.
My dog had the same problem. Take to the vet, it may be a ruptured disk in the back. And may be a simple as kennel restriction, pain meds and a little hydro thearapy.
You need to call them for that.
Honestly they are over run with cats and dogs. Thats why they focas on them
I will say that even if they don't go in a couple of times. We found our forever dog two days after going in the first time.
The shelter have pet carrier boxes that you could buy for a few bucks. You might want to call them first to make sure.
I have 14 week old puppies I've tried finding them homes but haven't had any luck can I bring them to you an y'all find them a home? I also have a 4 year old miniature datson he has been fixed an everything my landlord says I have to get rid of him also, can yall find them a home with out putting them down?
Petsmart has a kennel or Google local kennels in your area
You can probably park in the parking lot with your semi. Or, better yet on the street.
You call them and they tell you if theres a price or where tobtake tbem
Call animal control and let them get them for your protection
Call the H S snd ask. They have low fee vet care for people on assistance.
The volunteer coordinator will be in on Monday. We do have volunteers there on Sundays but you will have to get with the coordinator and get an orientation to become a volunteer.
In my opinion i think there is only 1 room /kennel that is big enough to accommodate a chair. You can call them tomorrow after 12 to see if they can use it.
Good question. I didn't know that there were other animals there.
Spartanburg Humane Society only takes in animals from Spartanburg city limits. If found in the country the animal has to go to GCAC.
25 for dogs, $100 for puppies 4 months and younger, $5 for cats and $25 for kittens. These fees include spay or neuter surgery, permanent microchip identification, vaccines,
This isn't for talking to the humane society, it's for asking other people questions about them.
This doesn't send a message to them, it asks other Google users.
Contact Animal Control now.
You will need to call them to make an appointment to see the vet. They can give you an estimate then.
Report it to Animal Control. Probably used for fighting.
Take him there and tell them what you want for your dog and they will put it on his profile
I have never seen tea cups but if they get them they go fast
They have kittens 2 months ago and up. $ 25 dollars to adopt and they fix them and give them there shots
You can call them and ask
Spartanburg doesn't take animals of any kind so you have to take them to Greenville
I think it's 25 or 35 dollars
I think it was $45 but was in with the cost of the heartworm medicine and flea prevention all together when I adopted my baby
Just take them to the back entrance on the right side of the building and u will have to pay to drop them off but tell them what has happened and tell them u have to get rid of them. It also helps if u can make a donation. Good luck.
$25 for adult dogs, $100 for puppies 4 months and under, $5 for cats and $25 for kittens. This includes vaccinations, microchip, spay/neuter, along with a few other perks.
My understanding is they now only put down aggressive, really old or sick dogs and cats that are beyond what they are able to treat.
There were a few when I last went. Dogs older than 4 months are $25 and younger than 4 months are $100.
I go to Animal Allies for all my animals. They are great!
You can take her there and if shes in good health they will put her up for adoption but if she has worms or some type of sickness that need or want special attention.
They will tell you to take them to Greenville Humane Society.
