Went to renew my dogs tag, lobby not that busy and workers all over the place. Waited 25 minutes and still no service. They seem more concerned with walking around and checking there phones. Shouldn't be like this, but what do u do??
Donna Laraway
Great place. I feel for the pets that need a forever home. I can't save them all, but I wish I could. I trap feral cats and take them there to get neutered and spayed. Then pick them up. The staff is great with the feral's and pets that are waiting for their new home.

They took such good care of my sister in law's dog when he got loose and turned in. He needed medical attention and they covered half of the bill! Pluses the offer payment plans if you can't afford the bill. Everyone we dealt with was incredibly nice. Great place

They're a no kill shelter with really helpful staff and good resources for helping with strays and adoption. We have fostered a kitten from here as well as adopted several animals, including said kitten. Adoption fees are often covered by local sponsors. Definitely go visit and find a new family member!!

Yes you can do community services and volunteer work at this facility.
They told me that September was a free dog and cat month....yea.........
I believe they accept donations of ANY kind! And you're very kind to do so! 🙂
Not really sure what the minimum age is but they said that my fifteen-year old could be very helpful 15 years old maybe
I adopted a really sweet 1 year old female kitty that is really adorable. They really offer great service there and the process was quick and simple.
Yes so far.
What is the 24 hour number to call?
321 633 2024 is there number. My name is Carol I just saw your post. They are very sweet good people. When you dial that number you'll reach Animal Control press 0 and the operator will come on and ask her if you could speak to someone at the clinic. They open at 11 a.m. if I can help you with anything else please let me know
In North Brevard, the animal shelter is located in the same building as the SPCA on Sisson Rd.
No
I don't know if the SPCA there does overnight stays, but Aloha Pet Adoptions does sleep overs or even a weekend. Check out their FB page or online website and see what they have available. I have rescues from Aloha.
Yes ! Thank you. I was looking for our lost cat 4 months. We had him 12 years. A nice person took my cat there and he was reunited with his family. Caring people like you make a difference:)
F.W.T. nailed it.. Pup will have good home till adopted.. Was all paid for too. Shots, chip , ect.. Good hands being there..
I'm pretty sure you can just drop it off at the shelter or call and have it picked up. Either way I'd call first and double check
Okay please update me I tried go over there and I saw no puppy or anything
Oh no what part of bevard? @charles bennett do you have a photo?
I concur with Marty.
Normally 50 or 55. There's many specials, based on time of year. I just adopted a 7 year old dog for free. They provide a chip, neutered or spayed and all shots and rabies certificate. U can call. Senior dog or cats are free for seniors. One of the best shelters ever. You need to go or go their website . I'm sure you'll find your best friend. Good luck.
They have an excellent medical staff in the clinic they take care if in coming animals for adoption, they spay and neuter animals. I had a case of a abandoned male pitbull mixed of a neighbor, that was in poor health condition, very loveable pet, great with children, also other pets. He was bones only, not spay. Once arrived the shelter gave him a make over and he is ready for adoption. Has many admirers waiting to get him adopted.
I'm pretty sure they are happy with anything, I know I've donated a few different brands my pets didn't like.
The dogs don t get walked to go potty. They use the runs. (At least to the best of my knowledge.) As far as feeding schedule. I'm pretty sure they feed before they open to the public and right at closing time to the public. I'm not aware of any public feeding times.
You can see their animals uploaded daily on pet harbor. If you are looking for your dog, then it is best to go in person daily, they only hold strays for 5 days.
When i was thete a coupke of weeks ago thete were several Chihuahuas!
You could call sheriff office and ask them
Yes but if you really want to see all I would go there and get to know the workers...all are knowledgeable helpful and nice.
Agreed you will need a trapper you might also have a food source such as pet food or open no garbage can or in some cases compost piles. In as far as animals go they're pretty harmless North America's only marsupial
No. I'm sorry
Call them
You'll have to call and ask them. I'm sure they would be happy to have you.
You have 30 days to bring back an adopted pet
Try to talk to the neighbors if you don't mind them knowing, otherwise call Animal Services. Good luck! I love dogs however barking is annoying
They have dogs and cats and sometimes other small animals available for adoption here.
I would recommend that you call them.
Please call Brevard county animal services for help & answer to your question
If you could go in and speak to one of the staff in person that would be advisable. I understand they have certain days for drop offs. Believe it is weekdays only. Also they could assist you with any and all questions. You may also check with the SPCA. Good luck with your decision.
No, there's no fee
Yes they do go to Brevard county sheriff's office animal services. It's also on brevardsheriff.com
I think so, but I'm not sure of the rules regarding this. Best to call ahead.
Barbara come to see my dog you will love her
No mam. I deliver oxygen there. Everyone is real nice.
I'm not sure but you can to Halo on US-1 in Sabastion
I would call them so that they can provide you with some answers or let you know what you can do next.
Call them
They are unadoptable while they are being treated
Most of the time it's free, you just have to go there and meet all the kitties and then choose one, make sure to have your photo ID and you will have to fill out paperwork, so expect to be there at least an hour. Best bet is to just go there.
There are both paid employees and volunteers
First step is completing an application at http://www.brevardsheriff.com/home/volunteer-opportunities/ then you'll receive a call to schedule an interview at which they'll give you info on the next steps
Not that i am aware of u might want to google that
Brevard Animal Shelter off X183 off I95 heading West past Renninger's Flea Market.
How do I find a place near me to foster animals ?
Sure
Call first, they have taken pig's before. If they can't, they know people who will.
Keep calling, I also had to go there. I love the dog we picked, great match. Good luck
Just your ID & money for the adoption fee. Our pup was $25
If you talk to your neighbor, mention that you saw the dog poop in their yard. Give your neighbor a chance to address it. You can ask them nicely if they need a plastic bag to pick up the poop? I dont see anything wrong in that.
Whatvgreen eyes said is true but I got luck with my fur baby
Some people in our community do that! Call them&ask for those peoples contact info? Good luck!👍
They do take cats/kittens, but you would have to call them to see if they are accepting any at this time.
Its not illegal to kill rabbits or sell their fur. Torture is just animal cruelty
I suggest calling first.
All shelters in Brevard are "no kill" shelters, so I imagine if you take them to animal services they will take them in and take care of them
If you are asking about the police department or the animal shelter i don't knoe about the police but yes to the animals you would have to call them.
Don't use that cuz it'll give the animals the mange use regular bedding
You have you rabie shots and they have to be registered with Brevard County
You just bring them to the shelter. Go inside. Say you need to surrender these kittens. Please don't just put them out somewhere. The shelter is there to help you. They do not kill animals anymore.
Best to just call them
Probably 18, check with them after 11 am. Clean personal records, must likely back ground check. You are volunteering, working for the Brevard County Sheriff Department.
It is no longer a kill shelter!!!!!
Most of the time there's a $25.00 fee, but there are senior and military discounts
Yes, but you will need an appointment. There's also local rabbit rescues you could Google and find that would be better suited to care for them.
If the cages are gone what are you talking about Johnny
I'm sure they are always in need of volunteers. It is run by the sheriff's department, so I'm not sure what you will have to do to become one.
Why dogs get all the attention and love? What about the chicken, the cow, or the pig? If anything, any of these animals are more humble than any dog can be. Dogs are barking machines ready to attack whoever threatens its more precious possession, his owner. That's all a dog is. They are loud, anouing, dirty, and in many cases dangerous. Google the internet and you will find many, many cases of dog killings even on family members. But yes, we all love and care for the dogs, and enjoy eating the rest. Stop the hypocrisy and love all animals, not just one. After all, how hard can it be to love an innocent, friendly, and humble cow, if you can love and care about a barking, selfish, and sometimes dangerous dog. It should not be hard at all.
A small dogs to adopt
Googles asking me to answer this question....that has clearly been answered!
SPCA at the south end of Sisson Rd
Call them and find out. 10am
The chances of finding a newborn pup is very very slim. The youngest dog I've seen was 9 months old.
