I'm pretty sure you can just drop it off at the shelter or call and have it picked up. Either way I'd call first and double check

They will take it if you drop it off. Then it will depend on someone taking them in. As far as I know they are still a kill shelter so if your cat doesn't get picked it will go on a list if they get too full. The Brevard south shelter in Sebastian off of us1 is a non kill shelter you might consider.
