Everything was done in a timely and professional manner. Customer service was outstanding. The young workers conducted themselves also in a professional manner. The crew chief interact with me in a professional manner. He had a team that worked well together and seem to be well organized. The outcome of their finished work showed it. They also cleaned up after themselves. Our property grounds looked real nice after they ended their work day. I would recommend DC ROOFING INC to anyone seeking out a new roof for their dwelling place. Send.

Once work started, DC finished quickly but taking care of with all aspects of the job. My wife and I are very happy with our new metal roof and are looking forward to the benefits it provide with our homeowners insurance. DC did a good job and I would recommend them to anyone.

This is almost hard to write as DC roofing has left me speechless with their performance as a company. From start to finish Dave and Colleen made the entire dreaded process as smooth and comfortable as possible. Not only did they offer the best price in town, Dave personally came to repair my roof and verify that everything was perfect in preventing us from having anymore issues with our roof. We ran into a few issues during the install and instead of making them problems, Dave managed to turn them into positives by working with us making solutions that benefited both him and I. This was truly a no hassle, stress free process and I have a new beautiful leak free roof to show for it. These guys go above and beyond so make sure to choose them when questioning who's the best roofing company in town!

The owners and staff are totally responsive, thorough, courteous and professional. The crews were skilled and efficient. The job was done well and in a reasonable amount of time, even with the inclement weather we had been having on a daily basis. We were inconvenienced very little, and the staff and crews were very accommodating. All of the staff went overboard to make sure we were satisfied. Leigh and Ellen are superb reps! all of our questions and concerns were adequately addressed . I would recommend DC Roofing to anyone locally looking to replace or add a roof. A wealth of expertise and experience!

A drip edge is required by most building codes. It is a strip of metal that is placed on the edge of the roof to help control the flow of water and protect the underlayment. If you are getting a roof replacement, it is usually best to get the drip edge replaced to match. However, in some cases it might be worth reusing the drip edge (if it is made from a very expensive material or unique to the home in some way). It’s best to check with your roofing company to see what is best for your home. If you are not currently working with a roofing contractor, give us a call and we would be happy to help!
Because they're largely made of recycled material and can be recycled again and again, metal roofs are considered a more sustainable choice than asphalt shingles. Choosing the metal roof installation can also be more energy-efficient thanks to its reflective qualities that help block heat transmission to the home’s interior. However, every home is different; which means a metal roof might not work for you. Give our experts a call to find out what is the best option for your home and budget.
Hello Nicholas, aside from the obvious roofing material being replaced (shingles, tiles, metal, etc.), a new roof installation also means replacing the underlayment, which is the water-resistant or waterproof barrier installed directly to a roof's deck. Depending on your home’s needs, there are other things that can be done during roofing installation. Give us a call and we will be happy to setup a consultation and walk you through your options!
Charlie, there are a lot of factors to consider when choosing the best underlayment option for your new roof. Certain options work best with different roofing materials and different climates. Your roofing contractor will be able to help you narrow down options based on your location, materials, and budget. If you are not currently working with a roofing company, give us a call and our experts can help answer any questions!
Thanks for that question Matt. A roofing overlay (sometimes called a layover) is when the new shingles are nailed directly over your existing shingles. This is a very cost-efficient roof replacement option, but it can also add a lot of weight onto the house and sometimes hurt your resale value. A roofing tear-off is when the old shingles are fully removed before the new ones are installed. This is the more expensive roof replacement option, but it ensures that there is no rot and adds to the value of your home. Every home is different and we can help you choose the option that works best for your home, timeline, and budget.
Thanks for that question Jason. In some cases, the gutters are removed in order to ensure properly sealed edges during a roofing installation. However, depending on their placement, a gutter removal might not be needed. We will be able to tell more once we complete an inspection.
Hello Keith, high-quality metal roofing material with the right protective coating as well as proper cutting and touch-up techniques during the roofing installation will help prevent rusting. Give us a call so our experts can help explain the process in more detail!
After a hailstorm, asphalt shingle roof damage may not be immediately visible – sometimes it can take weeks. So, instead of waiting for the leaks to show, we can inspect your roof to look for shingles with granules loss, soft spots on your roof (like bruises on an apple), and other indications of a needed roof repair or roof replacement.
Roof repairs or roof installations are best left to professionals who know exactly what they’re doing and are insured for unforeseen circumstances. There’s no room for mistakes in a roofing project–especially when the consequences are so high!
It depends on the condition of your gutters and downspouts. If you’re replacing an old roof, you might be ready for a gutter replacement as well. We can inspect your gutters to determine if they need to be replaced.
