Well i filled out the paper work. Then had to wait to weeks because they had nine other people that wanted the same puppy. Two weeks later we returned to have a lottery drawing. We did not win.
If someone gives it up its a pretty fast process if it's a stray there is a waiting period
I believe you just need to fill out some forms. We took our pet home the same day. I believe they wave the fee for Senior Citizens.
