How much is the microchip for the dogs

Well i adopted a dog for 50 n she got fixed n she got a ship in her but they don't put chips for freeit was free n my dog didnt cry or anything

I myself was not charged for the chip but I am senior that may be why

I believe its $25. I dont want a chip in my dogs. For a couple of hours, I watched dogs get microchips. They all yelped loudly. It hurt them. I would prefer a tattoo. When picked up by the city, dogs are not checked for microships. Rather, you go to the pound, identify your dog, then ownership is proven by checking the chip.
