Get a cat that you like. It shouldn't matter the age. All the animals there are I need of a home. Kittens are great but they always get adopted. Older cats are awesome cause you know what you are getting. If the cat has the personality that works for you, don't worry about age. Cats live way longer than dogs (up to 20 years). So you have plenty of time with an older one too.

You should adopt a senior cat that they can learn to take care of. They won't tear up everything like a kitten, already know how to use a litter box and will appreciate a loving home in their last few years.

Hello Edward, I personally would adopt a kitten because you can create that bond at a young age and really train the kitten, but remember kittens take more time and love because they are so small... There is nothing wrong w an older cat they are loving and friendly as well....They may have some bad habits you would have to break but that's ok.... So it really depends on what you are looking for Mr. Edward, think about the how old the kids are do/will they have time for a kitten or if their older they just may like an older cat.... I hope this helps....
