We visited on Thursday and my wife overheard one staff member saying he would play golf if the shutdown happened. So not definite but i believe so.....Just checked, RRC will shutdown from Monday Jan 22 2018

If it was closed when I went there in October i would have been pissed. Main reason I went to lv. You can still drive your own car through it. Just won't be any tour guides to tell you about everything. And the visitors center probably closed.
