We recently stayed at this "RV" resort. This campgrounds does not look at all like the pictures. We were told they were the artist rendition. WOW! Very dissappointing. Also no WIFI as advertised...overpriced...

No wifi, washing machines and dryers don't work, vending machines don't work, no money in the atm, security is not around as advertised. It's in a sketchy part of town. My car actually got stolen from here. Will make another post with details.

We liked it because we felt safe in the New Orleans area. Convenient shuttle to downtown. Caught a big alligator gar in the shipping channel next to the park.

Lots of changes have been made under the new owners. There is streaming Wifi available, a gym to work out and a lot of the "trouble makers" have been cleared out (which is the cause of most the bad reviews) The restaurant and bar is amazing, the food is always well made.

This campground looks nothing like the pictures. Campsites are very close. No picnic table or fire rings at the sites. Did request and got a picnic table. Table and seats were warped. Wifi advertised. What wasn't advertised is that unless you go to the office area, wifi was NOT available unless you paid for it by the day. Even though the website AND the literature handed to the campers specifically states the amenity of a shuttle to the French Quarter, there is no such service! That service was the reason we booked this campground!!!! There is a pool, which is tiny in relation to the number of sites in this park. In my opinion, this park is highly overpriced! Staff were very helpful and proximity to the French Quarter was appreciated. However, this resort in no way mirrors how it us marketed and is highly overpriced.

I found the pictures to be accurate. If you look at the map, you can obviously see they are close. The shuttle has been suspended due to NOLA COVID restrictions. We find the place lovely and are going back again for the 3rd time

We enjoyed our stay there as well. WiFi was very slow if any but we were there to enjoy friends and family. Also the people that pretty much live there were great as well.

I thought it was nice. Wi-Fi wasn't the greatest, but I didn't go to New Orleans to play on the internet! Park was clean and friendly. We rented a villa.
