came here a few years back, the water was very murky and had A TON of jelly fish in it. I kept having to scoop them up out of the water cause there were kids playing next to us and i didn't want them to get hurt. My brother and i both got stung trying to keep them away from the other kids

Nola city council has asked police to prohibit folks from entering the beach and asking cars to be ticketed and trespassing tickets issued.

The wall is to prevent flooding into the east and offset the wind during storms. The tracks have been a major passage for freight to come into New Orleans and surrounding cities from the northern states. Also a major passage for exporting freight out as well.
I would say no there's a lot of family groups with clothing on there.
If you can find a spot to park it. Otherwise there's a levy with train tracks that you have to cross before you get to the beach
