I am dying to hike the Mt. Mitchell trail but only one way from the Campground to the summit. I want to catch a car ride back down but I don't have a support person to do this for me. Any suggestions? Are there Uber drivers in that area?

Nope... Take a fold up bike like I've done and ride down ... What a rush😊

You might be able to find an Uber driver to come up to the restaurant area.

I don't think a car can get to summit. Unless they go to the summit restaurant.

Not that I know of.

I suspect an uber would be very expensive if they would go there at all. It is about an hour from most populated areas.
