Mercy Urgent Care is testing asymptomatic patients who wish to travel for the holidays to visit family members. They will be tested using the BD Veritor rapid test. Patients need to first schedule a telemedicine visit and will then be directed by the provider to a clinic that has the BDV test. If the patient has no symptoms, but the test comes back positive, a LabCorp PCR (send-out) test is also performed. The Abbott ID Now rapid test is only recommended for symptomatic individuals or those with a known exposure. Due to demand and limited supplies, some centers may not have rapid tests available until another shipment is received.
No insurance, or have a high-deductible plan? The Mercy Urgent Care self-pay option offers a discount to those patients who choose to pay in full for their visit at the time of service while not utilizing insurance. The Self-Pay option is based on a tiered pricing program, making it a simple and affordable choice. For your convenience, Mercy Urgent Care accepts cash, checks, debit, and all major credit cards. https://mercyurgentcare.org/cost-payment/self-pay/ We also have an income based sliding scale option called Compassionate Care. May not be possible to attach the income guidelines, but if you have a recent pay stub, we can see if you qualify. Just stop by 9-6 Monday-Friday or 10-4 on Weekends.
