You can absolutely be denied certain medical care in Florida based on your ability to pay and/or the quality of insurance you can afford. Last I knew only California and Massachusetts offer universal access to all levels of medical care regardless of the patient's ability to pay-- since both of those states offer universal healthcare. Florida is very much the opposite, I would never wish being Medicaid dependent on my worst enemy in Florida, seriously.
First, I would contact their financial department to be sure. If they don't and you're in need of hospital treatment or have a hospital bill, they have a financial assistance program.
