It varies depending on unit. ICU's are much more restrictive due to the higher acuity of the patients. Most units go by the 9am to 9pm rule. If you are directly envolved in decision making or care, these can be relaxed. UF Health understands that family and caregivers are an important dynamic in treating patients from a holistic approach.
I personally have not been restricted from being there with my daughter at any time of the day and night... Her husband as well can be there anytime. God Bless You and your family... This is the best of the best place to get the special care needed...
9 am to 9 pm. But if a relative they are not to bad about staying.
From our experience, they reasonably restrict the number of visitors, for the sake of patient well being, but for most floors there is no restriction on hours (24/7).
