you do not have to be on government assistance in order to live in the neighborhood. I was one of the first people to move into the neighborhood and I have zero government assistance. I just applied the first day that the application was released back in November.
You dont have to be on government assistance to qualify and the rent for a 1bdrm ranges from $500-660 something like that. Its what they call affordable housing, there's a minimum income and a maximum that you can make in order to qualify. But right now they are not accepting anymore applications and the waitlist is 2yrs.
