One of my worst renting experiences. For starters, when i moved in in June 2021, the apartment was disgusting. We wiped the counters and the bathroom and the wipes came back dusty. We reported multiple problems on my move in form and turned it in. I left and came back in a few minutes later and the ladies in the office (Katie) were talking poorly about my reasonable requests. This place is bug invested and the a/c barley worked. Maintenance told me to just deal with it. Now a year later I moved out and they unreasonably charged me for carpet replacement of the whole apartment - with almost no justification for the charges. I finally paid my outstanding balance to PRG Collections and they were rude and unprofessional. I sent them a check and noticed they cashed the check, and used my account number to do an AMC transaction as well, hoping I wouldn’t notice. My bank company confirmed that’s the only way the second charge would have gone through. This is a horrible business with rude staff, and i do not recommend renting through them.

DO NOT PICK THIS PLACE!!! The Clarion Crossing has beautiful settings. The townhomes are showing some aging but very charming place nestled in the wooded lot. However, the unit that I moved in had (still has) much issues. 1. The management folks did not take any action on the deficiencies submitted via the move in check list. I wish they show active correspondence and respond to tenants concerns. They are still outstanding and no one even called to discuss the issues identified. 2. My unit's carpet was completely wet from the shampooing when I moved in. It was not ready for a move in. They should have coordinated the cleaning in advance, so this type of problem can be avoided. 3. The unit must have had a smoker before my move in. The entire interior space is reeking with saturated tobacco smell. I can now smell it in my clothing. 4. The management people confirmed it to me that the boxes from moving will be picked up by the trash shuttle service, but they were never picked up. I had to remove them all by myself. 5. The following day after the move in, I used a bathtub and it leaked through the celling and to the kitchen below. The maintenance crew came to fix the issue and they had to open the kitchen ceiling, but the ceiling was left unrepaired for a week. It was difficult to use the stovetop due to falling debris. 6. The front door lock was jammed with a key stuck inside a few days after the move in. The maintenance crew came right away, but had to replace the door lock. He didn't have proper tools to replace it, and as a result, there are severe gouges in the door from banging the door hardware from outside. It was very unprofessionally done. 7. The complex is right next to NC State Greek Village. The noise is unbearable sometimes. 8. I can't believe how others can give anything other than one star for the review. I don't get it. I guess you get what you pay for. Very unhealthy and unsecured place to live. My recommendation is for you to spend some additional dollars and avoid this place. I regret that I selected this place very much. I have to wait 12 months to save myself.
