I recommend you talk with the staff here when you're looking for an apartment because Legacy at Wakefield is a safe and great place to live.

This is the first time I’ve lived in an apartment in many years and I must say I have been pleasantly surprised From the moment I walked through the door of the on-site office I have been impressed. I had already visited many other complexes and most were just “OK” and some were downright horrible . The a Legacy staff was and continue to be wonderful. Shelby has always been available to help me whether it is just to explain the policies of the neighborhood, to file a request for maintenance when needed or anything else I might need help with. I’ve never been treated with anything but respect and never felt belittled or forgotten. The grounds are immaculate and lush which I love My apartment was ready on the date I was given and it was clean and fresh when I walked in. Everyone has gone above and beyond to make me feel welcome. I couldn’t be happier and I would recommend The Lagacy at Wakefield to anyone looking for a nice friendly place to live

Place was fine for the first 5 years. The old property manager (Shelley) actually responded to emails I sent and there was hardly ever issues with trash being left outside. I never had issues with bugs. Now people leave trash outside their doors constantly. It’s like they’ve been offered valet trash service while others haven’t. And as a result roaches are starting to pop up. I randomly was sent a survey about living here and expressed my concerns about the trash being left out and Amanda responded to the survey saying she’s seen it too and was going to send out communication on it…. B.S.!!! She never sent out anything. She clearly just wanted to look good for the survey. I followed up and sent pictures of people on my hall leaving trash out and she had Bonnie respond to my email and address it with the offenders…. It helped that ONE time but they are right back doing it. I sent Amanda another email and no response from her. I also previously sent her an email about my lease which she she didn’t respond to. I had to go to the office to get answers. I had my lease dates mixed up but the least she could’ve done was respond. I will not be renewing if she remains the community manager. She won’t even answer a resident of 6 years email or address trash issues. Way to show you value long term residents.

The property is lovely and very well maintained. The community is friendly, quiet and convenient. The office staff are accessible and that customer service is excellent. And Wu the maintenace person is wonderful.
