Remember that they will place a hold on a large portion of funds in your account that you will NOT have access to until a few days after the car is returned and the hold is released. This is standard practice for rental companies that accept debit cards as form of payment, but not everyone remembers that the funds on hold are not accessible until a few days AFTER the car has been returned. Keep this in mind if you're renting the car for vacation, because the money on hold will not be available to you.
They will need to take a refundable deposit, I used my credit card. They defunded my deposit same day I have returned the car.
Debit card should work if u have at least 250 in your account
