The only thing I didn't like was that they gave me a call that was damaged on the bumpers and the sides.

Bad experience with budget in Fort Lauderdale, the car we received in my opinion was not a safe vehicle, there was a vibration at highway speeds, once we stopped I checked the tires and they were down to the wear bars and should have been replaced long before we got it, it rains alot in Florida in the summer and I had to drive slower to prevent hydro planning. Budget you could work on your maintenance!

Waited for over an hour in line to get my car because only one customer service agent was working during a busy time. The phone system is horrible. You will be caught in a continuous loop with nobody to help. Trying to contact the local Fort Lauderdale counter was impossible. The rental bus at FLL is not reliable at night, we had to walk to get our car. They over-charged me for a toll transponder that I said I didn’t want because I would have no tolls where I was going. I am still waiting to see if they refunded me. Overall a terrible experience!

You can make a prepaid reservation for the car you want, but the dealerships sell those at a higher price on the pickup date and you will be stranded with either no car or an awful substitute. Long line ups at the Miami location. Be prepared to wait for an hour in queue.

Thanks for the heads up.
Budget wasted 3 days of my vacation? Now I'm home....was charged $255 after I had already paid. They did, after over drafting my account credit my account. Now trying to prove I DIDN'T USE TOLL..... I'VE BEEN CHARGED FOR TOLLS., AGAIN MORE WASTE OF MY TIME AND LOST MONEY!!
Yes when you walk out the terminal depending on the agency. Some are in terminal others you need to take a shuttle.
Actually, go downstairs and go through the tunnel to Terminal 1 or catch a shuttle to Terminals 2, 3, 4.
Asheville NC
Correct. The unit has the option to activate. If in doubt call the agency. We didn't use it while in Miami. What we did was set our GPS on the phone to avoid toll route this way we were rooted to other highways or local streets
When returning follow the signs to AVIS at the airport. Should also say that on your folder from Budget.
Yes. Get the unlimited toll pass. All states you mention are a part of Florida toll pass. I am not so sure about Alabama. Just ask them.
Call their customer service folks
Yes, as long as same rental company is in Detroit...but cost would exceed a cheaper plane ticket.
Not from the airport. You can but it's extra from a different location outside of the airport
I've rented on several occasions and have never experienced that problem always from the FLL location. They actually check the gas right in from of you there. It has to be on full or over upon return, not close but on full the way it was during pickup. They actually tell you right on the contract that they going to rip you a new one with their own set of gas prices if it's not up to par!
It generally happens within 7 -10 business days for the banks to figure out who gets and keep what.
Would contact Budget directly right away. Your question on Google maps probably will not be seen by the right person. Good luck getting it straightened out.
I believe they do. I have seen a wide range of vehicles for rent on their page.
Better check first, we got charged
Don't know.... however I am still having toll charges on my account days after my rental! I DID NOT USE TOLL ROAD!!! CHOOSE ANOTHER RENTAL CO.
Must depend on the day. I rented on Thanksgiving day and was in and out in 10 minutes.
Modify your reservation to the Mia port location (close to the port) they have shuttle service. The airport location does not provide free shuttles to the cruise lines.
That depends on your contract length and if you combine with an airline ticket, etc.
I had the same question. Same building. Just follow the address on the GPS. You will be the sign as soon you enter the parking.
It well depend if the location is a franchise or company owned. Additionally, there will be a surcharge
Yes
Just fight w facts, original written contract, etc.
Just make contact with them and they and I'm sure they will take care of it.
Sign up for Budgets free Fastbreak program and you'll have no waiting checking in or out. I bypassed a long line using it.
It is at the airport in terminal building. We arrived in domestic terminal collected baggage and walked to car rental area without leaving building.
We carried our own cars seats as second set of luggage on the flight for the children.
Actually it depends on your cruise and if they provide that service if not then you'd ha e to take a taxi, uber, or Lyft to the cruise port
There open 24 hrs a day @ airports
Book on line 1st always cheapest!! If you rent at there counter it cost more..
Not unless you prearranged your drop off at that location. One way rentals cost more money and are sometimes not available for every location.
Car 25.99/day. myself 9.95/day. my liability 16.50/day. Navigation 15.99/day. I think hertz is cheaper
Yup, but a deposit/hold is on your card that takes 48 or so hours to go back on.
Very good compared to the other Rental cars
You would have to prearrage alternate drop off.
If it's a married couple its free not sure dure how much other wise
No
No you exit the airport by the baggage claim area and take a terminal it is very easy
Yes but its an extra charge Might be cheaper and cleaner to just go to Walmart or Target and buy one yourself 🤣
Adequately prepared for handicapped passengers
What port
It varies way too much to estimate check priceline hotwire better bidding dot com. 20-40 per day with taxes
Go through booking buddy because it searches several different sites for you without you having to do it and you can pick from the lowest rate
Yes, they are on 4th level at the car rental center
Yes
You have to take a shuttle to the rental car terminal and it's on the second level I believe
They may but Usually the cruise ship that you're going on offers a shuttle
Yes you can. That's the most easiest and convenient way
