Look and see if your debit card has a Master Card or Visa logo on it. If it does then the card can be used as a credit or debit card. Your credit line may just be as much as you have in your debit account. I have used my debit both ways, debit, credit. But either way i use it, the money comes right out of the checking account. Rental car companies are a little funny since they are giving you such an expensive item to use. Why not ask the bank if you can use your card both ways like mine, and then if the bank says yes, and you have enough money for thier 200.00 on hold deposit you should be OK. If my bank said yes (it can work either way) then I would call budget and give them the number on the card and see if they accept it. Better to check all the situations than get there and be turned away. Hope this helps.

This is a very hard location to find. Their shuttles are small and few. I would not use them agian. I am referring to the 1515 location. The other one i am not sure about. So many locations do not shuttle to the Port, they do not mind the airport, but the Port is a nightmare for them. If you can use Alamo, they have a great location and are known for big shuttles and enough of them. But i would stay away from the 1515 location, no bathrooms available for you to use, very small and you may end up taking a taxi, uber, lyft, or a for pay shuttle that comes by and stops because they know how bad their shuttles are.

We only saw a shuttle that takes you to about 2 miles away to a large nice rental location for the cruise port or Port Everglades to be sure we are talking about the same port, I'm sure we are. I don't know of any shuttles that run all the way downtown to Ft. Lauderdale. A taxi will cost alot, and cant rely on Lyft or Uber since Port Everglades is such a nightmare to get in and out of, neverending construction. Hopes this helps, and maybe the big Budget only a couple miles away is the one you are looking for.
