I am trying to rent a car from Alamo at Fort Lauderdale airport-is the counter in the airport? And do you have to take shuttle to pick up car or is it on terminal parking garage?

Have to take a shuttle but its not far. I recheck in and avoid the counter. Much faster.

I think its terminal 1. So if you arrive at any others, you will need to take the shuttle. But it's a very short ride.

Counter is across from terminal, no shuttle. Cars in garage. Alamo has a great skip the counter if you pre check in online. I used it and walked straight from terminal to garage to get my car😁
