Hope everyone is fine. This is the time when you start thinking about taking that coverage they offered and which everyone said you don't need, you will learn the hard way why... After the accident , she needs to fill a report and basically they will call and communicate with her. The process will take a couple of weeks since the vehicle needs to be seen by an adjuster to start the collection process with your insurance and whatever they decide not to pay will have to be paid by the renter.. including lost of use. Hope this helps...
I spoke to my home auto insurance man. He said my insurance covered rentals, no need to buy another policy he said. Glad I haven't got progressive
Good morning, my advice is to call the corporate office, that is why I always get the full coverage from the rental companies even though my insurance covers me for any car I drive. The cost for full coverage runs about an extra$7.00 to$15.00 per day. I drive worry free with there coverage, and save youself the headache so your insurance is not involved. It's the best answer I can give you. Good luck.
Keep calling. I am sure their claims department is closed so early. Be sure to get police report.
Good morning to you, Thank you for all your advice as well, the trouble isn't with Progressive, they've been out right cooperative, but it's that low down Eazy Rental that's not honoring their end of the insurance agreement.
