Everybodys answer is accurate. However...At the very least the aisles need to be accessible in case of emergency. That being said...if everybody brought their whole house full of beach stuff, then the boat would not be able to legally operate because thr aisles would be blocked.
Yes i bring one myself and there is plenty of room for more.
As long as there is room on the ferry you should be able to. We took chairs and a small cooler, they just had us set them off in the corner of the boat. That way they weren't in the ways of the walk area.
