So it's the middle of July. Temperature is hovering around 90 to 95. The gulf water is somewhere in the mid 80 's. And the sand is soft fine grained mixed seashells. What more could I ask for. Oh yeah, the tide is rolling in with two to three foot swells (waves for you land lubbers). I got in the water at around 12:00. Out a hundred yards or more beyond the not over crowded shallows. About 2:00 went back to the sand for a coke and back out to the water for a few more hours to be a fish. So what am I saying to you? This is a the place to go to be with friends, family or just be alone. But for me it is being in the salt water. Dogfish1968. Don't miss it!

Photos I saw had me thinking this was a huge sprawling park. Actually, it's a small cozy place. Lots of trees and shade, a scattering of strategically located picnic tables, a kids play area, public bathrooms and a scenic view of the marina and local businesses. I had a nice cigar after lunch. Lot's of folks eating their lunch, walking dogs, riding bikes, exercising and relaxing. If your in the area, a nice spot to chill with plenty of free parking. Nicely located near the busy business and marina area of Dunedin, where tons of local eateries and shops reside.

Beautiful waterside park with gazebo, picnic tables, and within walking distance of shoppes and restaurants.

Yes. Plenty of room on the walkways. I have seen the two wheeled Segway on the walkways.
I would guess hour and a half hour after sunrise and hour and a half after sunset...
Yes, it is not a dog park though. Animals must be leashed.
Honestly I would try until someone says something...theres an area to fish at a little before that park. But I rarely see police or anyone bring stopped from fishing. I see lots fishing on that tiny bridge and where the people jog at😊
There is a boat ramp next to the park, there's free parking for boats right next to it.
Anywhere is a good place to swim if you try hard enough, but I don't recommend.
