Traveling with daughter and her two kids. Is it better for me to have them wait at the airport while I take the shuttle rent the car then drive back to pick them up or best for us all to go on the shuttle at the same time the rental?

I think it'll be best to take them with you. It's not a long drive and the shuttle has plenty of space for luggage and people.

It's a short bus ride to the rental car center, perhaps 5mins. However bus has high entry step so really depends how many strong arms you have available. We managed with 2 large suitcases, buggy, and car seat etc...
